The recent screening of the INXS telemovie has stirred up a lot of emotions I have held onto from the untimely death of Michael. It has made me realise what a great musician he was and the role INXS played in forming the Australian culture as it is today. I remember vividly seeing them in concert in 1985 in Tasmania and have been a lifelong fan. Not only was Michael charismatic, sexy he also seemed humble,compassionate and very intelligent. I have been doing research on line and listening to the music of INXS again for the last few weeks. I remember being very upset when he passed, but these feelings have surfaced again. We have to be grateful for the wonderful music he left behind and to celebrate his life. I hope his lovely daughter knows how much he must have loved her and wish her a lifetime of happiness and joy.

I have strong memories of Michael and INXS from my teenage years which have recently been awakened by the recent screening of Never Tear Us Apart. I am now enjoying the music all over again. As an adult I am appreciating how talented Inxs and Michael particularly are and were. I remember precisely when Michael died and so pleased he now seems to be receiving the positive recognition he greatly deserves. Thankyou Michael for sharing your talent with us and so much of yourself. You are missed.

These last few weeks with Never Tear Us Apart and the Sunday night special! have brought back the memories and the fantastic music back to our lives. My first day with my late husband was an INXS concert in March 1991. So have spent the last week or so searching you tube and google for anything and found this beautiful website. Michael was loved so much by his family, band mates and friends and fans he is soo missed but the music lives on. Thanks for this chance

Played inxs tracks in my car today and my kids were singing along with their dad. Brilliant group and great front man. Still love watching the wembley stadium concert and brings back lovely memories. He might have gone far too soon but his music certainly lives on. All the best. Richard Leach

I have just watched the interview with the guys from INXS I really enjoyed knowing the true story of Michael's life and their friendships. They were just a bunch of childhood friends that made it big, I just love their music it is timeless and touches my heart and makes me want to dance! How grounded they all are, if only Michael had of survived the dark place he was in, his daughter Tiger Lily is just beautiful and has a very mysterious look like her father. I'm sure he is looking down from above and is very proud. I hope you get that sign one day from him. Peace and kindness to you all xx
So sad watching the INXS tribute and the Sunday night special on Michael's time after meeting Paula. I believe Michael had a great life as a Sydney boy enjoying working with friends and as a group reaching out to the world with meaningful lyrics and music by masters. What a time to grow up in Australia seeing these talents. Michael is nine years older than me and I see him as a ground breaker as so many of his generation have been. Looking up to these legends. All Australians should be so proud of what Michael and his school friends have achieved. We should be so lucky. I have always been in awe of the talents of the Farris', Garry, Kirk and Michael. As just an Aussie boy loving the good time that it was and your music I thank Michael and and the band for the efforts and what came naturally. I hope Michael is in a better place than he was but I am sure he knows he made such an impact on us all. He may not have seen it at the time but he is well loved. I wish I could have met you Michael. When I think great times in Australia, you are part of it.

I feel SO VERY BLESSED to share my love for INXS and Michael with my 15 yr old daughter, Sabrina...She now has all my old posters proudly hanging in her room! ( the INXS ones were the only ones I made sure I took good care of!)Michael was a very talented song writer, and I am certain he was a wonderful person. I was 2 months pregnant with my daughter when I heard the news of his passing....a day I will never forget...I am so greatful for being able to share a bit of my past with my daughter. Nostalgic, yes...indeed...afterall, my plates on my car said “4 INXS” for a whole decade............never say die......
Micheal, was 16 when first heard your awesome voice hit the Australian airwaves via Countdown. Watched you grow into an incredible performer over the years . I'm 51 now and feel like I knew you . You left us too soon mate. Your voice lives on forever and the music will never die. RIP.

Loving that the INXS legend lives on with the next generation as my 12 year old son adores your music. It's timeless as was Michael's influence and talent. Still missed.

Since I watched the mini series of INXS I've learned more about the band and their music and Michael. What a great talent he was! The saddest thing that always loved their music and I've never acknowledged who they were.. Very sad that he is no longer with us in this World but he will be always with us through those great INXS songs. The INXS mini series is a great tribute to his legacy!
