I know has been while since Michaels death but watching the mini series made me feel so sad about his young life taken away. I loved INXS their music was amazing, Michael was an incredible performer. Beautiful person inside and out

Since the moment that Michael passed away, my answering machine has rung with: Never tear us apart. I am 55, and I loved Michael's music. I danced to his songs, I had a good time listening to them. Michael you gave us joy. Rest in peace, dear.
Time seemingly does not allow one to diminish the profound sadness of the loss of this amazing talent! He will always be remembered in the hearts of many. My thoughts continue to be with all those who knew and loved Michael. Personally, I continue to remember him as such an amazing talent and person.

Thanks for this site. I didn't realize this until recently, but I was raised on a daily dose of INXS. I was 14 when Michael died. His music was always on the radio through my formative years and helped me through what I now know was a difficult childhood. After watching the mini-movie on TV I decided I wanted to know more about Micheal's story and wow! His charisma and honest love for people oozes out of his performances and interviews. How he did it I'll never know, but he makes you feel like you know him intimately, even nearly 17 years after he's passed on. I'm so sad that he was just before my time that I could never have followed him around the world to see him and meet him in person. But I am so grateful that he shared himself so openly with the world, and that technology is able to record it for me so I can enjoy him and his gift whenever I like 🙂 My life is fuller for having had his music in it.

I have been thinking of Michael so much this past year. You physically left this world on the exact day of my 21st birthday. I am now 37. I literally grew up to your music. The first cd I ever purchased was Kick. My first concert was to see you perform at the Palace in Auburn Hills for the X tour. You performed in late November and a friend bought me a ticket for my birthday. I was so young, my parents drove us and waited in the parking lot. Your music had a profound impact on my early life. I miss you and your presence. Peace and love for all eternity!!

First of all my condolences go out to the family of Michael huntchence. Michael you were a handsome talented man with a great singing voice! Your fans miss you and so do I.

For the past month I rediscovered the beauty of your music and whole being. I was a teenager in high school when I was in love with your image and couldn't get enough of listening to “Need you tonight”. The first song I ever heard of yours was “The one thing” and it was the best! Years later i've been listening to your music and it brings back such good feelings. Remembering you makes my day happy. Yet the loss of you brings such sadness and urging for things to change. I love you forever Michael Hutchence, and wish I could have met you. R.I.P you wonderfully handsome and talented man.
I miss Michael and his energy on and off stage. He gave so much of himself, I wish he knew how much all of us live and miss him. He was gone too soon, but will never be forgotten!

Michael, you are a beautiful man as well as an ever so talented singer and songwriter. Thank you for being you and INXS for your music, it is helping me through my grandfather's death at the moment which is one of the worst times in my life and I am eternally thankful. “Beyond the world as we know it, there is a place where we will all meet again, where we never have to say good-bye”. Since Stay Young I've been hooked on INXS and have seen them live many times. Was always drawn to Michael, felt connected through his music and around the time he was with Kylie I was in a similar relationship situation with another Michael who I was completely in love with and who is now my husband. I remember where I was when I heard the news of Michael Hutchence's tragic death and years later my hubby and I won tickets to an INXS gig in Wollongong with JD Fortune up front. The band was great as always and JD did an amazing job, but it just wasn't the same without Michael. I even cried during some songs that could only ever be sung by Michael. It was such a moving experience for me. The Never Tear us Apart mini series has stirred it all up again for me, the memories, the loss and the joy that Michael and INXS brought into my life. They provided the soundtrack to my youth and I'll never get over Michaels passing. Rest in peace you beautiful man, we miss you so much. May you never be alone in the dark any more.
