When I first heard of Mike's death, I could not believe it. It just did not seem possible. I had seen him on MusiquePlus with Tim back in April 1997, he had seemed happy. I found myself being troubled and drawn to learn more about who Mike was. What I discovered by listening to his music (all ten INXS studio albums plus Max Q) and talking with one of his biggest fans who resides in Chili, is that Mike was a man with “an immense heart full of love”. Since Mike's death, she and I have been sending e-mails back and forth with interpretations of Mike's and Andrew's music. Through his music we found that we learned a lot about who Mike was: a sensual guy who loved people. It's tragic that the world lost such a great person who had so much to share. I send my condolensces to Mike's family and friends, and I am sure that one day Tiger will realize just how many lives her father influenced.

Heartfelt and sincere thanks to all concerned for a truly beautiful collection of memories. I feel privileged to have shared in your personal stories and tributes.

Some days I am still overwhelmed by grief, other days through the gift of Michael's time with us, his music, his passion and his unrivaled beauty and charisma..I find the strength to smile for him. I will miss him always.

Dear Kell,family and inxs....

This web site is beautiful..

I had the privilege to go to Sydney and visit Michaels memorial, while on holidays..And it was just beautiful to be there, but sad also..My two girls,Tarnya,Lauren and my self scattered rose petals, and told Michael we loved him....

Something I will always remember..

Here is a poem I wrote just for Mike:

With you in our hearts forever,
We'd run through millions of doorways.
To bring you back where you belong,
To be with us,to sing our favourite song.
We miss you michael.
You were so likable..
And will always live on in our hearts.

Dear Kelland,

Your memorial site is so very touching.

Michael was loved by so many people around the world. He's music sent out a message to all his fans.

I, myself, grew up listening to inxs and knowing that their music has touched my life is well worth it. My children will also grow up listening to INXS.

To the members of INXS,
No matter what you do in the future i will be right behind you.

Michael,
I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER

LOVE AND PEACE ALWAYS

It wasn't until Hutch's passing, that I became re-awakened to the music of INXS, and to the beauty of Hutch himself. As someone who came a bit late in the grand scheme of things, I thank you very much, Kelland Hutchence, for this memorial website...Michael's shining on...

Peace and Love,

Debbie

What a great site. Michael, your professionalism and conductance in life is an inspiration to all.

My admiration for you as a man and a musician has no boundaries. You touched so many lives for I myself who has never met you feel a great loss in your absense. However with the end comes new beginnings.

Thanks to Mr Hutchence for this celebration of an angel.

From a truly proud aussie, thanks Michael.

Growing up with INXS was awesome. The Michael Hutchence memory is one full of style, cool & groove. I guess he can take time for himself now. Rock on Mike & the rest of the INXS & hutchence clan - we need the beat.

I have no words for my grief, or the overwhelming feeling I have gotten from briefly surfing this site. Seeing Michael's life from the one who truly knew him best-his father.

Kell, I admire your strength and such a wonderful tribute. Though we didn't know Michael, we loved him.

I for one can say he was my first crush and my first real heartache. I was a fan from age 4 and am almost 21 now. I have my page to him and considered on making a bigger site, but this site is all any INXS fan needs, or better yet, a Michael Hutchence fan. The pictures, the stories, it is all so intimate.

With Michael's death, I experienced pain yet a tinge of pleasure when I had to listen to all the music again.

Those CDs that never left my CD player were somehow on constantly anyway, but played more throughout the days following his death. He brought many of us closer, like an army or family and I have made wonderful friends, but I would wish it would have been on different circumstances. How could a life so precious get taken away? Maybe it is true that God takes the most special for he needs them more in Heaven. I won't forget the day I first heard him sing, I won't forget the day he died, and most of all, I won't forget his inspiration for he is the reason I am a singer and Music major today.

Thank you Kell and thank you Michael.

In tears, I love you both. Thank you so much...

Take care all,

Mr Hutchence,

This is a wonderful tribute.

Michael will always stay alive in our hearts.

The world needed a site like this one to honour and to keep the memories alive forever.

Merci!

This is a great site for those of us who can't make it Australia ourselves. For those of us who are still in morning over Michael's death. Thank you so much for coming up with this wonderful site

What a moving, heartfelt tribute.

What is it they say? “someone is never really lost to you as long as they remain in your thoughts and in your heart” or something to that effect... Michael remains vibrant and alive in Tiger, in his music, our memories and ever so much in your love for him.

Thank you Daddio, for sharing so much.

peace,

dierdre

Dear Mr Hutchence

I sit here with tears streaming down my face, but also with a huge smile beaming through.

Your tribute to Michael is like the man himself: intriguing;heart warming;

touching; thoughtful & beautiful.

Your love for Michael is truly clear for all to see.

I thank you & Rhett for sharing your treasured pictures Of Michael, they are very private keepsakes of yours & we are honoured to be able to view them.

I never got to see Michael & INXS play live,I will never get over that fact. Through illness I had to spend a lot of time in hospital having operations & such like, but the music of INXS & the pure dynamism of hearing Michael sing got me through those tough times.

I cannot even comprehend what it must be like to have lost Michael - your own blood, I never even got to meet him & my heart aches every time I hear him or see a picture of him.

All I know is that Michael truly LIVED
- he shone like a star.

Take care of YOU please Daddio !!

LOVE & PEACE
Liane xx
