My second child, a daughter, was born earlier this year. She is called Sydney Kelland in honor of you so that your life & work is carried on to another generation. When she is older she will know who she is named after. When people ask her about her name, then she will tell them of you, ensuring that your name and your memory continue to live on.

The peace and tranquility I found at Michael's garden today made me reflect on, the twinkle in his eyes, which captivated people (me) for life, the smooth velvet harmony of his voice soothing our souls and, the poetic genius, meaning and depth of those lyrics which would “take you there” lift your spirits and render you strength and inner peace, that cheeky smirk and smile which could entice anyone he set his sights on.

I can't believe with all the inspirational books I have laying around this house that I can't find something approrpiate to post for Michael today. I keep going back to the one Tina read at his funeral...the one about 'Do not stand at my grave and weep' to the effect 'I am not there...I did not die'. Michael will never 'die'. He will live forever in memories...in Tiger....in his music that he left behind...in videos (Thank God for videos)...and in us...the fans that just will not forget. Michael is still here with all of us in some form or another. He's just not 'here' amongst us anymore. But I'm sure he's watching. And I'm sure he's proud. And I'm sure he knows we all still love him.

I know more considerable people died in 97, like Diana, but in fact, Michael's death have touched me the most. I remember, I woke up that morning much earlier, as if I felt that something very sad happened and my father was watchin cnn and told me about that.
It's four years since his death and it still hurts, a hundred years wouldn't be enough to forget about that.
Michael rest in peace, I'm glad I have discovered your music and can listen to it. The world lost one of the greatest and most incredible musicians.

I'm glad I had the opportuniy to visit Michael's memorial in Sydney during my holidays in Australia last year. It is a lovely place in a peaceful environment and I will never forget the time I spent there thinking of Michael and everything he gave to this world.
