Happy new year to everyone!

I have just read the book “I'm Just A Man”, by Tina and Patricia, Michael' sister & mum. I loved the book it was sincere and really set the record straight on lots of issues. iF YOU ARE A FAN YOU MUST READ IT! It has left me feeling quite sad that I never had the chance to meet Michael. I have loved INXS music for atleast 8 years now. FANTASTIC BAND.

My name is Caroline Hulett and I am 15 years old. I would just like to say is that from what i have heard and never have met the man himself, that Kelland Hutchence is and was a great man and he will be greatly missed. But the reason why i wish to comment is about Michael. In 2001, I was listening to the radio one day when i heard an INXS song come on and it was “Never Tear Us Apart”. From the moment i heard Michael's voice I have started to like the band even love. Their songs have so much inspiration and meaning. Just hearing them give you this energy and its amazing. But since Michael is no longer in human from on this Earth. I hope that is soul and spirit can see and hear how much people truely miss him. Thank you for letting me be able to blabble like this. From a new fan-Caroline.

Hello,
I check the website from time to town and was shocked to read of Kelland's death a few minutes ago.

It was obvious Kelland was a lovely, sincere man who felt passionately about his sons. My thoughts and prayers are with him, Michael and Paula as we face in to the New Year.

Condolences to the Hutchence family.

Firstly, my deepest condolences to the Hutchence family in the loss of Kelland. Having perused the site dedicated to Michael it is quite clear that Michael held a special part of Kell's heart, may they both rest in peace. INXS were very special to me, their music will inevitably live on, with Michael's voice inspiring many an artist and many a memory in so many people in the world! (Especially me) Hardly a day goes by when I don't hear/listen to a tune with the voice of Michael floating around, the likes of “Disappear, The Stairs, Elegantly Wasted, New Sensation & Need You Tonight & of course Never Tear Us Apart to name but a few of my favourites.

Peace & Happiness to everyone & best wishes to all associated with the Hutchence name.......

Michael was my first “rock star” crush.
I saw INXS in concert in Perth first when I was ten. Then, my mother moved to New York City in 1988 and I was forced to leave the calm of Western Australia.
My first INXS concert in the US was 1989 in Poukeepsie. Can anyone tell me why they never had a show IN New York City? The second was in Connecticut and I remember just being so in love as only a teen bride could be. I crawled my way to the front. They broke out with “Shine Like it Does” and the red lights came on and Michael crooned into that microphone. Beauty. I had to meet him. We went backstage to wait by the busses and I got to meet the whole band and I got a photo with me and Michael. It was so unreal but it made me a true fan forever. They invited me to the concert in Buffalo. I don't even think Michael knew how far Buffalo is from Connecticutt. I didn't care. I tried to go. There was a blizzard. That day inspired me.
Michael will always have a place in my memory and heart.

Michael is fine now and rockin, he beams with happiness everyday and feels more alive than he ever has. He is still around but writing different songs these days about the feelings of real love and he has had at least 12 no 1's. He's happy yeah!

I've just discovered this website and would like to congratulate everyone involved it's a wonderful tribute to Michael.

I've always been a fan of Michael's and admired his music for many years.

The day Michael died the world lost a very special, talented and unique person.

He lives on through his music.
