I was at work at a night club when I heard of Michael's death 'did you hear some rock star's dead, Michael Hutchence I think' it hit me like a tonne of bricks. I'd been an INXS fan and particularly of Michael since about 1979 (I was about 15) back then INXS played in small pubs and clubs and up front you could make eye contact with him a lot. He had an awesome presence. I used to dream of knowing him - I still get very teary whenever I hear his music or watch him on TV. What a loss. God bless beautiful Tiger Lily 🙂 xx

Saw Inxs throughout my teen years, they were the first band I saw when I was too young to actually be there. Loved them ever since. Seen them recently in the UK and met them. My best wishes to all of the Hutchence friends and family, to the Band and all who knew him. I have been a fan since before I knew what a fan was. My mother raised me “In Excess” and nothing gives me more goosebumps than watching Michael perform in old concerts. Stay Young.

I love the website. I miss you Michael. When I turned 18, I went to the old Newcastle Workers Club and saw INXS in concert. I was wrapped. I saw INXS as often as I could after that and you grabbed my hand in one of your Sydney concerts. I felt like I was the luckiest girl alive. You had this aura, everyone was drawn to you like a magnet. I'm sorry that you are gone as your songs with the Andrew, Garry, Kirk and Jon made my growing up such fun. I hope that you are safe and fulfilled, wherever you are. God bless you and thankyou for the joy you all brought into our lives with the music. INXS will always live on.
