I am not sure who will read this but if you do, I can only tell the truth that I know. I am a Sydney boy who moved to the US as a kid and befriended INXS around 1982. I introduduced myself as an Aussie away from home and enjoyed both their music as well as the Aussie bond. The welcome I got from the band, especially Micheal was enormous and adopted as a younger brother. I spent many days on the road with them as well as the unbelievable opportunity to share the stage with them on the Get Out Of The House Tour in the US as an opening band. Micheal was a mentor and fried to me and until the day I die, will never forget that. He knew my mother and dedicated Shine Like It Does to her on the X tour and it was so close to my heart that I still cant believe that amount of love. I read the memories that were so dearly written and one thing that astounds me is that so many of them talk about his sincerity in conversation. I have a picture of Micheal and I on the X tour where we are talking about my mother dying and about death and his sincerity is so evident when you look at it. Micheal was a huge part of my healing for that devasting part of my life and I will never forget that. I love you mate.
