I went to the 'Kick' tour here in Atlanta, and have never forgotten it. I still have the tour button! He was an amazing performer and vocalist, and I miss his presence on the music scene of today, which is sorely lacking in performers of his quality. INXS forever!

I saw INXS in Fayetteville, NC in 1985 or 1986 on the “Listen Like Thieves” tour. I was at the front of the stage and the show was amazing. I managed to get a high five from Michael. Later that night my brother called me (2:30 in the morning) and told me he was having drinks with Michael at the hotel bar where they were staying. I didn't believe him. My brother asked if I wanted Michael's autograph and I said “of course.”
A few hours later my brother came into my room with a signed cocktail napkin. On it was written“To John,
Peace. Michael Hutchence.”
I still have it today.

I just saw your site and I had to write what I wanted to years ago...thank you so much for inspiring me in everything I do. Your voice got me through some very tough times and still does to this day...I'll never forget one concert that stands out on a snowy Thanksgiving night in Chicago, 1993..you were wearing a crazy cowboy hat talking about eating turkey...I couldn't stop laughing...and then a fateful night in St.Louis, Aug 31 1997 when you seemed extremely depressed backstage, maybe because of Diana?...I met you, took a picture-to be the last one...and you said “good to meet you mate!” Thanks, man...rest in peace...and thank you.
