I'm big fan of Michael. He is best singer all the time. I'm love his music.
In November 1997 I turned on my TV and saw the video to elegantly wasted and thought to myself: Hey, they're still alive. Then I turned on my TV-text and read the terrible news of Michael Hutchences Death. I couldn't believe it. And still I'm convinced, that something happened we will never konw. I miss him and the whole band. INXS were one of the best bands I've ever listened to. And I will always listen to them.
Aún es dificil de entender porqué paso lo que pasí ...; resulta triste recordarlo y no tener a Michael con nosotros...
Los grandes mueren jovenes....
Acabo de ver los nuevos DVDs y están muy buenos y completos... sobre todo I'm only looking!... gran trabajo!

Quite simply, the world of music is a much duller place without Michael Hutchence. Thanks for providing me with years of quality music and many fond memories. In my eyes and in my home your music plays on. Cheers, it's been a pleasure following your music.

I remember the first time I seen INXS, it was also the first time I heard their music. It was the “Don't Change” video. I wanted to know more about them and hear more of their music. Michael's voice was just so mesmerising. From that first time I heard them, my INXS experience just kept getting better and better. Then Michael passed away and I thought that it was over. But, it's not. Not only do I still listen to INXS often, but my 15-year-old daughter is also now a fan. She has a crush on Michael, just as I did when I was her age. And after talking to her friends, she found out that some of them also are INXS fans. None of them thought that the others knew who INXS was, so they hadn't talked about it! Michael's genius is definitely something that will never be “over”. And when the rest of us catch up to him, I'm sure he'll have a song for every one of us. God bless Michael's family and keep them all well.
Almost 7 years without you...it's just unbelievable. When I watch or see anything about Michael's death, I don't wanna see again, but at the same time I want to watch again again to see if it's really happened, if it's true...
I miss you, Michael...the world miss a person like you nowadays.
Take care and be in peace, wherever you are. I love you very much.

Love for ever, Michael, you are de one.
Michael, I learned to think and groove, I grew up and came into my own with your music. We now share something. I miss you.
I too, just recently received Rhett's book from a friend in OZ. Many touching pictures, eventhough I haven't read it yet. I Wish Rhett the best and it's nice to know you're out there somewhere. Love you always mate.

I just wanted to say that not only do I miss Michaels work, his music, his words, but I miss the work he never got to make. I have just finished reading Rhetts book and feel compelled to write this. Everyone loved Michael. It must have been. A terrible accident. I hope Rhett has won his battle. He deserves to.
Once in awhile, I get overly nostalgic for my youth. It usually happens around the time of my birthday, which is in late October. Tonight a good friend of mine reminded me of how incredible INXS were, which led to us both taking out our CD's and celebrating the musical legacy of one of God's greatest gifts to this world...Michael Hutchence. Few people could have achieved that level of infamy and still been so down to earth. How sad that the same essence that drove Michael in his creative genius may have ultimately played a role in his untimely demise. He was such a powerful presence, and I think that in that room at the Ritz the night he left us, his own power engulfed him, just consumed him. What he used to create tore him apart inside. Inside wanted out, and it found its way. His spirit was just too big to contain in an earthly body. It must have been hard for him to have struggled with those feelings...of all the people in the world, Michael was the last person I thought would leave in such an abrupt way. I will always believe that the medications he was taking was what drove him over the edge. How much joy this man brought to the world! And how much pain he must have felt on that day nearly 7 years ago. If he had only waited one more day, one more hour, if he had only known the impact his leaving would have on his family and his fans and the world in general. If only he had confessed his truest feelings to someone close, and if only we knew as much about those anti-depressants as sadly we do now. I believe Michael was not in control of himself at the time of his death. I believe the prescription drugs had altered his mind beyond his understanding and ability to save himself. But what is done is done, hindsight is 20/20 and only God knows the true story of Michael's blessed but short life here on earth. Truly the world was a brighter place with him in it, and now it is like a universe with one brightly shining star conspicuously out of place. In Heaven, Michael shines brightly forever and is no longer troubled by the cares of this world. Tonight, listening to music I hadn't listened to in years, brought back a flood of memories from my youth. I discovered INXS at the tender age of 11, and was far too young to understand then how his charisma affected me. Today at the age of 35 I most certainly do, but then it was a very innocent sort of amazement at this man who seemed so comfortable with himself, and was so beguiling in his body language and self-assuredness. Throughout my teenage years, Michael was the archetype for all my romantic interests, and his music was the soundtrack to my relationships with boyfriends. There was this obscure movie with Aidan Quinn where Aidan is with a woman intimately while “To Look At You” plays in the background...I wanted every sensual experience to be just like that. I still do, but I don't dare tell my husband. 😉 Michael's music and his persona as the lead singer of INXS was always this fantastic cheering section in the background of my psyche that inspired me to love more deeply and passionately and to feel as much love as my heart could hold. He taught me to make poetry out of the things that mattered most. I would strive to feel the things Michael sang about so naturally. Michael was pure love and libido and creative force incarnate. His music expressed a gentle power that could rule the world with just a wink and a smile. His stage presence was beyond words. He truly ruled the world when he was onstage, and any fan that had the privilege of seeing him perform could attest to that. Never before, and never since, have I seen someone command an audience like he did. Not even Bono himself can do what Hutch did. Hutch was gifted by God to completely give his heart and soul to his fans. Tonight I came across this memorial site for the first time, and I browsed it for hours looking for answers as to why someone who seemingly had it all could have left in such a hurry. I am grateful to have been given an opportunity to share in the family's private moments of goodbye. It gave me great peace to find this site. I am grateful to know that those closest to him understand that even those of us who only knew him through his music also loved him in a special way, and needed to say our goodbyes and thank yous as well. Michael opened his heart and soul to us in his songs, and as much as one could love the whole world, he loved us through his gift of music and we loved him right back. This website is a beautful and touching way to continue to share Michael's heart and soul with the world. I thought it was so lovely to see that even so many years since his passing, his legacy of sweetness still lives on in the hearts of those who knew him through his music and his public life as well as his personal life. Thank you Kell for this lovely site to honor your son. Surely by now you are still just beginning to understand the impact he had on this world. He lived a rich life full of amazing days, and I trust in God's goodness that he continues those amazing days in Heaven in the presence of Our Most Merciful Redeemer Jesus Christ. I know that Michael's beaming smile and precious heart is only ever a song away. His soul is forever in his music, and his music is forever in our hearts.
Love and peace,
Shannon

Hello, i'm Madelon and i'm a big fan of inxs/Michael This site is very beautyful, i'm always happy when i go to this site.x
I can still remember to this day how I felt when I heard that Michael had died.
I had been a fan of INXS since I discovered the Kick video on saturday morning tv, I was still at school, doing a saturday job. I was hooked. Here, was not only a gorgeous looking man but he could perform and sing as well, a true rock star!
I was very lucky to see INXS perform 4 times, sleeping out over night when they played Portsmouth Guildhall - so proud that they had come to where I lived.
I now am a mother and wife, Michael and INXS have been with me through all the ups and downs, good and bad days and I know they always will be.... thank you, michael. Sleep well.

Beautiful site, a place where people from all over the world can celebrate your life and the time you shared with us, making art with your presence. It was the way you sung, danced and smiled. Felt like you were happy with what you were doing and so you made us feel. You and your band really mattered, as it was your wish. Mission accomplished mate. Rest in peace, we still love you here & keep your soul alive. As long as we live.
Your beautiful son will not be forgotten. He was a mesmerizing soul. What a joy to have had such a wonderful boy. Cherish your memories in your heart and you will never be without him. Smile. Laugh. Rejoice.
Michael's contributions to the world will never be forgotten. I would like to thank his family for providing such a lasting and loving tribute to such an amazing man. I hope one day to be at least half the man he is.
I spent many, many very happy years consuming anything INXSive. Whether it was listening to the music, watching the videos, reading about them in magazines - or my personal fave, seeing them play live.
They were undoubtably one of the best live bands I know of. Their music touched so many people, in so many different corners of the world.
7 years have gone by since Michael died, and I often think of him. Think of how terrible things must have been in his mind for him to want to leave this world so quickly.
As a mother of a 3 year old, knowing how strong that bond is... makes me terribly sad to think that Michael's pain even overshadowed this love. To think that life left him believing that there was noting better around the corner for him really upsets me. Michael, I pray that you have found the peace you were so desperately searching for. I sincerely thank you for every single minute of pleasure you gave to me.
I still listen to your music. Strangely enough, my three year old daughter seems to have picked all of my favourite INXS songs as her own. She often watches your video's and says “look mummy that's Michael”
An example of how seven years after your passing, you are still connecting with people through your music.
I just wish that you were still here.
With an INXS of love

He is sadly missed by all and thank god we still have his and INXS music to listen to & video clips to watch. Its funny to list to the radio & hear these cover's & reworks of Michael's & Andrew's music, it just goes to show just how much this Man & his amazing band touched & shaped the world with there music..
