Time will certainly remember Michael and his Incredible Talent and Voice , It was remarkable and He is Missed Drasticlly and I saw them and INXS 5 times in concert and always was entertained and my spirits lifted with his work and vocals. Thanks for your contribution to our world with your talent.

I remember that inxs was kind of a strange band when all other bands at the time were “new wave”. Strange in the fact that they were unique and seemed to have more depth than what was coming out at the time. Being a musician myself, I noticed this. The first time I heard kick, I was impressed and pleased that they transended what I thought they were. It has become (to this day) one of my favorite albums of all time. I was too shocked at michaels passing. I still listen to his music and I turn on the younger kids to inxs and they are impressed.

En hommage au plus grand des chanteurs que la terre ait connu.
To the biggest singer in the world ever.

Thank you for your music

My 4 year old son is a huge INXS fan. He has great taste! I see music in his future. I played my Live Baby Live DVD for him and he asks for it now repeatedly. Instrumentally he imitates Kirk but vocally and dance wise you know it is Michael. He is too young yet to explain the impact INXS and Michael had on music, too young to explain the enormous talent amongst the band, and definitely too young to understand the tremendous loss Michael's family and friends have experienced, not to mention us, his fans, who, although seeing him only from afar on a concert stage or on TV, feel like we knew him. You will never be forgotten Michael - you, your voice, and your music live on. Dawn

'Never tear us apart' will always have a place in my life as it was a piece that reminded me of an old flame. That old flame has re-risen and im getting married to her in July. The lads and i are going to Prague(Czech Rep)for the stag weekend, also a special city with the great INXS in mind. Michael you were an amazing 'one off'. You and the band have a huge aura within my life. God Bless.

I always remember Michael because my good and dear friend comitted suicide at the same time as Michael. Time has moved on and there has been another great sadness in my life. Everyones lives are changed forever by people who commit suicide. Rest in peach Michael, Christine and beautiful Ben. Always in my heart.

It's so hard to believe Michael left this plane 8 years ago now. I discovered INXS when I was in high school in the 80s and then I took the music with me when I entered the military. I always remembered how much fun I had teaching my daughter to dance to INXS when she was little, especially when I was deployed far far away. I remember where I was when I heard Michael had died. I was at Walter Reed Army Hospital as a patient, recovering from surgery to rebuild a body wounded in the Balkans. It felt as though I had lost someone very close to me. I still have all my CDs and my now teenaged daughter and I still dance in the living room to all that great music, I just wish Michael had lived long enough for me to take her to see the band in concert, and she has often said the same thing.

The first time I was TRULY infulenced by rock and roll music (from my era) was at a Junior High Dance - when I heard “Listen Like Thieves”. I was an instant fan. I have just about every CD available that INXS has put out. The world has lost a great man. INXS has been my favorite band since I heard that first song at my school dance. I have never been disappointed by anything that they put out. We miss you Michael.

This is a beautiful, peaceful tribute from a loving father. I envy the love and mourn the pain and loss of a beautiful soul.

To those who miss him most

I have a daughter about the same age as Tiger Lily and I wish with all my Heart she could have had a chance to know her dad and Michael could have seen her grow into the amazingly beautiful girl she is. If I had the power to give anything I would give her those moments.

I pray she has some comfort in knowing that her Father was an amazing man, who gave so much and touched so many.

We miss you Michael

I believe Bono said it best... “Michael was like oxygen when he wes in the room”.

There are many gifted artists that we have lost over the years, but Michael had the biggest impact on my spirit. Michael was more then just a rockstar. He was a poet that captured the heart of a generation, gave hope to those who didn't have it and a release to those who needed to breathe. May angels sing with you wherever you are Michael. I do.

Just wanted to take the time to offer another fan's feelings at this time when the world is yet again changing. Really not sure how to accept the “search for a new singer” tv thing. Part of me is happy to see the 'band' keep on rolling but part of me is horrified at this ultra-commercial way to “fill the void” as it were.

I was fortunate enough to experience MICHAEL, LIVE just two months before his death and was even more impressed than the other times I'd seen INXS perform. He is truly missed.

He was the reason why I, for one, brought forth my own voice in the bands I've played in.

A force, a voice, a man. Certainly never to be forgotten. Always to be remembered.

Rest in Peace, Michael.

I just want to say: while growing up in the 80's INXS was the band that I enjoyed. Michael was a great lead singer with a cool voice and carisma. I know you cannot replace him but, I still listen to INXS music. I look forward to the band touring again. God Bless Michael's family and INXS!!!
