I always considered INXS “my” band - the music, I felt was the heartbeat of my musical soul. I played the “Listen Like Thieves” soundtrack so much when I was in highschool that I completly wore out the tape and had to buy another one.
The loss of Micheal pains me but his music will carry on. I'm so glad the rest of the band plans to continue. I know there will never be another INXS but I'm anxiously awaiting the “new” INXS.

I just watched “The One Thing” on vh1 classic. “The Alternative” and I was reminded of my love for this band. I lived in a very small town in Arizona and listening to INXS and being a part of their fan club brought me a lot of joy when I depressed living in a desolate area. I MISS INXS so very very much. Micheal was the ultimate performer who would never let you down!! I regret that I did not have the pleasure of seeing them live. But I did own their concert and video collections. I hope everyone in the band is happy. Life goes on.
Michael Hutchence and inxs were and still are a big part of my life growing up,i hope Michael has found peace and happiness.As for the remaining members of inxs i truly hope you guys can find someone worthy of your music and who can send chills down my spine.I look forward to what you come up with,but i still miss michael voice he will always be in my heart. xoxoxo

Michael I hope you are happy and at peace. You were one of the best in your field, the consumate Rockstar and performer & your star will always shine bright. All the love and respect in the world to the rest of INXS. I am so happy & proud that you guys have the courage and the desire to carry on making wonderful music. As you guys have mentioned many, many, times, Michael can never and will never be replaced and INXS more than anyone are aware of that. Michael, im sure, would be truely grafeful that you guys have treated him with such love and respect since his death by always remaining silent on his private life, something that was soo important to Michael. I still can't believe this happened. It was like yesterday when INXS played in Tampa, Wed. Sept, 10 1997. I'm grateful to have witnessed remarkable talent. I've been and always will be a huge fan. Hi... I just started listening to INXS.. and I got the INXS dvd.. and when I saw Michael performing.. I was like, “he is so cool.” He was an incredible performer. He had amazing talent.
