just thinking about how INXS was mt 1st concert.... i was 12 maybe. My dad HAD to chaparone me & my girlfriends. I'm 29 now...
My father passed about 4 years later... by his choice. That concert had to have been one of the greatest hilights of my life.... and after hearing of michaels death.... i can't find words to express the pain i felt. If only he'd known.... tomorrow would have been better

Michael its been so long, but I still think of you and your contribution to my life. Thanks again for the inspiration in my life and the great times that I had with your music. You helped to set the music of today. You will be missed always.

It was a cold day in November and I was on the way to New York to spend Thanksgiving shortly after my father had died when I heard about Michael. I wasn't sure how to react but I knew it was a sad day. I listen to ALL music and I enjoy most types of music but INXS was the only one that I honestly looked forward to when a new release was due. I miss the sound and the good times I had while listening to INXS. Michael surely will never be replaced. He was a genuine frontman and great song writer. My respects go out to his family, friends and fans that feel the way I do.

I have a collection of some 420 CD's I have purchased over the years. Some collect dust... others don't. I am pleased to say that INXS CD's are quite dust free 🙂

I have enjoyed reading many of the kind words writen here. Having been by my girlfriend's side during her recent loss has helped me to put all of this into a sort of perspective. Pleasure and pain... the very fabric of life.

We miss you Michael.

It's great that the band want's to carry on without Michael, but please have the decency to change the name of the band. Looking for a new lead singer on a television show doesn't say much for the memory of Michael Hutchence. Hew was a large part of what INXS was. He was a great performer and singer.

Reform a new band, don't call it INXS. He was the sixth memember of the group.

It's been so long since Michael's been gone, and yet I still miss him. INXS has been my favorite band since high school, and I have nearly all of the albums, even the really old ones which I went back and rediscovered once I finally got hooked. His voice, his moves - everything about him made me feel so good. My only regret is that I never got to see him in concert.

Rest in peace, Michael. There will never be another like you.

Something I forgot to mention to the hutchence family I found quiet facinating and Speechless. that night micheal passed away I was so terribly upset I was watching and recording the funeral service i was so emotional I just cried I felt so much pain I intend to keep it forever. then the next day all I called do was play micheals music over and over then a day or two after that I had a dream it was so real I was in bed sleeping until i suddenly awoke with a precence of micheal standing infront of me just starring for a few moments and then he smiled . He was wearing the same clothes as his picture i have in a frame stating when he was born, wwhere he lived, education, his highlights, children, and star quality. It is a newspaper article, micheal is wearing a white short sleeved shirt and black and white checked slacks and black glasses that were a shade tinted he was leaning forward singing what he is best at in that same position I saw him i adore every bit of him. With love margaret!

Time will certainly remember Michael and his Incredible Talent and Voice , It was remarkable and He is Missed Drasticlly and I saw them and INXS 5 times in concert and always was entertained and my spirits lifted with his work and vocals. Thanks for your contribution to our world with your talent.

I remember that inxs was kind of a strange band when all other bands at the time were “new wave”. Strange in the fact that they were unique and seemed to have more depth than what was coming out at the time. Being a musician myself, I noticed this. The first time I heard kick, I was impressed and pleased that they transended what I thought they were. It has become (to this day) one of my favorite albums of all time. I was too shocked at michaels passing. I still listen to his music and I turn on the younger kids to inxs and they are impressed.

En hommage au plus grand des chanteurs que la terre ait connu.
To the biggest singer in the world ever.

Thank you for your music

My 4 year old son is a huge INXS fan. He has great taste! I see music in his future. I played my Live Baby Live DVD for him and he asks for it now repeatedly. Instrumentally he imitates Kirk but vocally and dance wise you know it is Michael. He is too young yet to explain the impact INXS and Michael had on music, too young to explain the enormous talent amongst the band, and definitely too young to understand the tremendous loss Michael's family and friends have experienced, not to mention us, his fans, who, although seeing him only from afar on a concert stage or on TV, feel like we knew him. You will never be forgotten Michael - you, your voice, and your music live on. Dawn

'Never tear us apart' will always have a place in my life as it was a piece that reminded me of an old flame. That old flame has re-risen and im getting married to her in July. The lads and i are going to Prague(Czech Rep)for the stag weekend, also a special city with the great INXS in mind. Michael you were an amazing 'one off'. You and the band have a huge aura within my life. God Bless.
