Thanks Michael for the beautiful voice and music you gave us. You were truly one of a kind. INXS were the soundtrack to my teenage years and beyond. Hope the rest of the band come back soon. You've been missed.

I saw Michael and INXS and Men At Work in the summer of 1983. Best double bill I've ever seen. I was truly impressed with the musicianship and stage presence of both bands. MKH will always be missed!

INXS it's simple a important part of my life. I heard their songs for first time when I was going through a very difficult time in my youger years.

A few words, some rhyme on the radio back in those 80's years, sounded just like what I need

...I've told you, that we could fly, 'cause we all have wings, but some of us don't know why....

Thanks INXS, thank you Michael...

I'm sitting here listing to old INXS songs on their website and having a blast remembering the amazing, energetic spirit who created these songs. I have to say that no band in the world ever made me jump to my feet, stomp and holler, sing to the top of my lungs the way these guys did. Michael Hutchence was amazing---so talented with a voice that just vibrated you right out of your seat. I really miss what he brought to this world and to this wonderful band, he had something so special. Plus, and this is going to sound silly coming from a 35 year old, but he was so cute! I got into INXS when I was 18 in 1988, and boy did I have a crush on him! The combination of that plus the great sound of their songs really hooked me and I was buying their cds left and right back then. Now, when I play them or listen to tunes on the computer this way, I feel the same rush of joy and excitement that I used to feel back then. There was something so magical about Michael, the way his voice blended perfectly with the awesome sounds of his band. God, what a great combination they were.

I really miss you, Michael. I never got to see you in concert or meet you in person, but you and the rest of the guys in INXS brought so much fun to my life. Even now when I sit here singing my heart out to your old songs, I just feel this rush of kinship, like you were someone wonderful, someone I would have really enjoyed getting to know.

I love you and I hope that wherever you are, your spirit is rockin out, having the time of your life now that there are no problems or worries to tie you down.

You are missed, you handsome devil.

Love always,
Tracy

I saw INXS live for the last time with Michael at Chastain Park in Atlanta. It was one of the best times that I have ever had at a live music performance, and I have been to a lot of them. INXS helped me get through West Point. They helped me get through my time in the desert in Saudi Arabia. When I learned of Michael's passing, I was devastated. I dragged ass for weeks. No other entertainer's loss has ever hit me so hard. I just couldn't get over the fact that he was gone. I did see the band tour in Chicago with a new singer who I must say did an outstanding job. I love this band and hope to see them some time again soon. I think that the tribute to Michael is very appropriate. I was in Australia in the late 90's and it made my heart jump when I saw the prospect of them back on the road again.

8 years later, and your talents are missed just as the day you left us. Your mates are working hard on keeping the faith, and the music alive. May your spirit continue to influence the band, and live in the hearts of your fans forever.

Your voice of songs past are ghostly, and its a sorrow shame that we will never be able to hear your voice, your songwriting, your carisma mature.

You left us all too soon and have left a permanent void in many of people and the industry itself.

Your sister and Mother have dedicated much time into clarifying misconceptions, in which are all to speculated, even to this day.

God Bless you and your daughter. May Tiger carry your flame onwards and upwards as she grows in this world, expressing similarities that you once pocessed.

To Patricia, Tina, Rhett, Tiger, and you too Kell, you are not alone, you walk not alone, as Michael is truly missed across this corrupt, unfair world of ours.

It's people like Michael that make this world a better place to live in. It's a shame this world is what took him away from us.

Peace & Love to the Hutchence family.

Kindest regards,
Terah, 23.02.2005

It truely is a drag that such a rockin', smooth talkin', good lookin' guy like Michael had to leave us before he proved he was the King of Rock.
