NOw in my 40th year of life I go back and listen to your songs when Im having a mid life crisis. Strange that someone my age should think to often about someone who has been gone for almost 8 years. That is your majic. Not many people can leave an imprint on so many people for so long. I just wish I could have seen you live. I hope you have found the peace you needed. The first cassette i ever bought was from a secondhand bookstore, was called “The Swing”. I saved my pocket money for weeks-I was only 12 years old but by the end of my school hoildays i knew each song word for word! INXS has been very much a part of my life since and Michaels passing touched me very deeply. I listen and remember him with much love and admiration...
Recently I have been listening to the older INXS records such as Shabooh Shabah, The Swing, and Kick and it us so good to listen to them and remember why I liked them in the first place. As a boy I was a big fan of INXS. My first concert ever was an INXS concert in 1990 when x was out. Michael Hutchence was so cool as a performer and had great stage presence. His music has touched me and I still sing along to his music. This is my first time on this website and I just wanted to mention how important INXS and Michael Hutchence's music was to me growing up and still is. He is one of the greatest performers ever and he has touched many people around the world. Thank you for your music and I am sure you are happy and in a better place.

I stumbled across INXS' Listen Like Thieves the other night and had forgotten what beautiful music Michael and the rest of the band soaked our souls with for 15+ years. I had forgotten the peacefulness of Michael's voice and silkiness of his actions on stage.

I have always been a huge fan of INXS and shared the love with my father, who took me to see them in 87. I started listening to INXS in 1982 and loved all their songs. I can't believe that Michael is gone, he was so brillant and had a wonderful voice and charisma. My heart goes out to his family and friends and to his daughter who is truly missing out on a very loved and amazing man. God Bless everyone!!!
