Didn't realise it but for many years since Michael died I've hardly played INXS stuff. Having had a forced listen when my sister but on Underneath the Colours and reminded of how we used to pogo round the front room at home as kid to “Night of Rebellion”, I realised what a profound loss it was to me. I was fortunate to meet him after a couple of gigs in Birmingham and was always struck at how amusing and human he was. Especially for one the media put up there as a rock god with the ego to match. Sorely missed, but a hude musical and iconic legacy left. I grew up listening to INXS and that is something that at 30, still isn't lost on me when I hear them.
