INXS will never be the same without Michael...but the music has to go on! The Band is ready to return to their fans and I hope that the new frontperson will do the band the justice they deserve.

As a die-hard fan, the last thing I want to see is someone joining INXS for the wrong reasons...I have my personal favourite from the show already...we'll see!

RIP Michael...

I saw the premire episode of “Rock Star” and I liked it a lot.i'm glad to see the members of INXS get involved with a really good t.v. show.No one can replace Michael. He was the perfect frontman-like Jim Morrison of the Doors. All of his fans miss him but life goes on.I just hope that the new singer for INXS doesn't get too cocky and I hope they don't fill like that the fans won't accept them.As far as INXS's future,I see the guys rocking the world again with a new album,a new tour....it's going to be great.Keep Rocking Guys and God Bless Michael.

I don't know how I feel about Rock Star INXS... I still don't quite know how I felt when I auditioned in Seattle. Twisted, a little mixed up, but very unsure to say the least. I watched the opening show tonight with near devistation. Not because I didn't receive a call back the next day and not because of those who did, but... I adore the abilities and contributions of Garry, Kirk, Tim, Jon & Andrew, but wonder what the're doing with this. What do they feel? How do you feel? Speak out.

I seen INXS Rockstar tonight and I just want to say, seeing the band play made tears roll down my face. I never knew I would be touched in this way after all these years. Losing INXS had such an impact on me. I will forever miss Michael. I know he would not want tears and sadness but it is something I cannot hide. He will never be forgotten. INXS will live on but something will continue to be missing, for no one can fill the void Michael left behind.

I listened to INXS through the 80's and early 90's. I worked in a factory where the radio was tuned to a rock station every day. INXS was on the radio very often while I worked. I have great memories of the people I worked with and the music we listened to. Now I own all of the INXS CDs. Michael is incredible on the DVD, “ Live Baby Live”, which I also own. Thanks for all the memories.

To this day, the tragedy of Michael's passing stays with me. I remember where I was when I heard the news, a 15 second announcement on MTV and to this day I cringe at the thought of what he could have accomplished had he remained on this earth. I think of his daughter and hope that she is thriving after having lost both her parents. Hopefully he is watching her grow up from above.

As a 10/11 year old in a new place with no friends, I used to take “long baths,” where I would play my Kick tape start to finish at least twice...dancing, singing, dreaming!

INXS was one of my first two bands that I discovered or appreciated on my own. They made me happy, helped to shape my childhood character and confidence, and gave me dreams to hold on to!

At the height of their 15 minute annoying fame, Oasis dismissed INXS as hasbeens. PFFT...I replied to a vile and musically talentless band that ripped off scores of great compositions for their “own” work.

One of my best friends telephoned me on the morning when the news broke that Michael was found. It was a “remember where you were” moment for me. I perfectly remember the phone call, the room, the time and stinging emptiness I felt.

Less than two years later, I made my way with a college group to Prague, Czech Republic and surrounding areas. One of the first questions I asked on the shuttle from the airport was in regard to the locations of the images I remember seeing as a young boy of the Videos for “Guns in the Sky,” “New Sensation,” and, especially “Never Tear Us Apart!!”

It was a healing time for me as an INXS fan. It was a wonderful experience in general, but I found the corners of Prague where the boys walked, forming images that were burned into my memory.

Thank you INXS for helping to shape who I am! Thank you Michael Hutchence for inspiring me and bringing joy into my life. You are painfully missed!

I'll never forget the day I first saw an INXS video, it was “the One Thing”. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Michael. He was a wonderful singer and performer. I miss the fact that we will no longer be able to hear new music from him and it's a tragedy that he's gone. He is sorely missed.

Michael you are the consumate lead singer. I saw INXS in L-ville when I was evidently too old for the band. Most of those in attendance were dressed in all black and were much younger than my small group. It was festival seating, so most of the crowd pushed down to the floor. My friends and I sat among empty seats and rocked to INXS. We stood when we rocked, we sat while we listened... I felt a deep loss when you left. I know many brilliant, talented minds are too fragile, sensitive for this crude world. I don't know what you went through, but I hope you are okay now.

Love,
A fan, a friend

I matured through out my life as Michael's music and talent matured with the band. 8 years after his passing it's hard to believe I still grieve for his voice and talent everytime I hear an INXS song. Michael and the whole band were such a large part of my young life. They influenced my taste in music, setting a standard. I miss him even unto this day. I had the pleasure of seeing INXS in concert only one time but never the good fortune of meeting them. I can only hope that the fates will be kind to all of us who appreciated and loved him and his music, and someday we will all meet again.

Good night sweet prince:
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!

We miss you terribly!

Michael and INXS are very special to me. They introduced me to a new type of music in the 80's and opened my mind even more and created a thirst for different sounds and voices that continues now. Michael was a huge loss in my life but he will be remembered as one of the most important influences in my taste of music. You will always be in my heart Michael.

I had the priviledge to meet Michael on the listen like thieves tour as the soundman for the Del Feugos. He was the most talented singer I have ever met. He was also a good person and would hang out with us. He never had a bad thing to say. I can't say enough to pay tribute to him. I've learned from him and will always pray for him. God bless you all, sorry for your loss!!!!

I'm a fun of INXS of all time and my favorite is Michael for his humain sence, a star who like simple things, no words can describe INXS, thats the most incredible rock group, for music and band, long life in future to all.

I can't say I'm happy about the upcoming series. I feel it trivializes Michael's death. I'm an INXS fan through and through, and had the pleasure of seeing them several times. I think they will stand as the best live act I've seen. I even witnessed the last New York concert Michael was around for, and it, like every other show, was amazing! He is irreplaceable, and should not be replaced. Sorry fellas, you can't sell me on this one.

BRISSY!!!!
hmm what to say? well i'm 19 years of age and com e from brissy, female obviously. (well i hope it was obvious) Yeah well i've been listening to INXS since i was 5 years old, i was absolutely nuts for them (still am) It was michael's unique voice that got me hooked, and i loved the way it changed as he got older and more experienced because it seemed to suit everything that he sung. I never got to see them live in concert so i regret no being old enough, but it was thanks to michael that i got itrested in music and nowhave a great love for a vareity of music.

but he will always be my favorite vocalist.
