My earliest memories were the US Festival in California. This amazing band and frontman,filled with so much emotion,energy, and presence.I stood in awe. Many concerts and albums followed. I listened in awe. Now when I hear their names or listen to their music a tear follows and I get a goofy smile on my face. I experienced a Rock Legend. Once again I'm in awe. I'll remember Michael/INXS forever.
I grew up with this band; they still are a main staple of my music diet! Michael is forever silenced, but he is still around in spirit when you listen to him sing...
Don't get me wrong...I do not want to sound as id I knew any of them personally, but tragedy has a way of touching everyone, somewhere. We wish all the best to INXS on their search for a singer!Hopefully, too, Hutch is helping guide you all to where you wish to go....God bless!

It still doesn't seem real that he is no longer here with us. But the gift of his voice fills my heart with such joy and happiness, knowing we've been so blessed with having him even this short while. I will forever be enamored with Michael, and his precious spirit.

I remember seeing INXS at a small club in West Los Angeles back in the early 1980's, I believe it was called the Music Machine. I knew immediately that this venue was much too small for them and that they would become icons. I remember talking to my colleague at the Los Angeles Times, Robert Hilburn and commenting to him that watching Michael Hutchense on stage was like watching a slithering snake seduce you.
Michael's loss is profound. I would like to express my gratitude for all the incredible music that he made which brought me such listening pleasure. I would like to also express my condolences to his family.

Seeing INXS in concert and hearing the incredable one of a kind voice of Michael Hutchence was one of the most memorable experiences I have. His voice and talent is truely missed in rock and roll today and always.
You have left such a impact on the music world, it just amazing. Though you never ceased to amaze me, still do every time I listen.

The first concert I ever went to was INXS the summer I was 16. We managed to get up 3 row from the stage, it was the first time I personally knew what it meant to be entralled.
The luxurious voice, the piercing gaze, and the way he moved, my God...one song and I'm right back there.

I have been a fan of INXS for over 20 years and have seen them in concert many many times, but no one could ever replace Michael, He had such a style that you couldn't keep in your seat. I still listen to all their songs and believe it or not my 4 children know all the lyrics (I am forever playing INXS in the car)I watched the new show tonight but won't ever be convinced that he could be replaced.
Michael your voice is still missed. INXS music will never die as the memories of all the good times will always be there. Thanks for making such wonderful, artistic music uniquely composed for varieties of audiences.
The very first time I heard INXS was when I listened to the Pretty in Pink Soundtrack (in 1986)& heard the song “Do Wot You Do”. Michael's voice sent shivers down my spine. I had never heard anyone sing like that before. Needless to say, I fell in love with him and the band. I bought every album they ever made and to this day that song is still one of my absolute favorites. Michael, You are truly missed!!

INXS AND MICHAEL WERE SUCH A HUGE PART OF MY LIFE. EVERY SONG,EVERY NOTE,AND EVERY MOVE WAS LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. I WENT TO SEE THEM IN NEW ORLEANS AND WE HAD FRONT ROW SEATS. MICHAEL AND THE BAND SWEPT ME UP AND TOOK ME ON A BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY. MICHAEL SEEMED TO MAKE IT A POINT TO CONNECT WITH EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. AS HE SANG

Michael's soulful voice, his stage presence and the band's music...awesome. The music brings back many fond memories. I play my cassettes and still jam like it was back in the day!
Gosh, I miss the sexy, yet upbeat sounds of INXS. Michael brought an element that simply cannot be imitated...I sincerely hope and pray that his soul is at peace and found everlasting serenity. We miss you, Michael.

I miss Michael very much I was so fortunate to meet him and the band in August 1986. I went to so many of his concerts after that. They are the ultimate band and will never be the same without Michael singing. I pray for him his daughter and his family everyday. He is very sadly missed. God Bless

it's been so long, but everytime i listen to him sing, i can still see him on stage, like that day never happened.....i still mourn and miss him very much...... millions of us did not know him as well as his family and friends....but he let us in, sharing his talents, and that is what we fell in love with.....and that is why we still love him....Michael was, and is, one of a kind......and NOONE will ever take his place in our hearts.....still crying, loving, listening, and keeping him in our thoughts.......LOVE YOU ALWAYS DEAREST......

Michael was such a presence. I remember driving in my car with my kids, and hearing the news of his death..my hand covered my mouth, and I started crying. How could this happen to someone so vital, and beautiful? It was just heartbreaking. I'm so happy to have found this sight..its wonderful. His music will always be in my heart..it symbolizes my youth, and I thank him for leaving it, and leaving me with joyous memories. I pray his spirit is free and happy.
