I agree with many of the people that have signed this guestbook that Michael was such a great singer and that he was one of the reasons why INXS has so many fans.
When I read the articles and stories that Tim, Andrew, Jon, Garry and Kirk and many others had written about Michael I agreed with all of them, but mainly with Tim, Andrew, Jon, Garry, and Kirk after I read the note they put on the website about about how they all said he can never be replaced by anyone and how much of a friend he was to them. Some of my favorite INXS songs that Michael helped to write were “Beautiful Girl” which Andrew Farris wrote about his daughter, “What You Need”, “Elagently Wasted”, and “New Sensation” because he always had a good voice and a really good friendship with the band.No matter who the new band member is, they may never be able to replace the talent that Michael had, but his music will live on forever through them. I hope they have good luck in picking their new lead singer, because once they do it will help them to move on with the memory of one of the best friends they will ever have. We will all miss Michael very much and I know the band will too.

Thank you Michael for sharing your gift with the world. Although far too brief, your life and legacy has left a permanent imprint of happiness and love for everyone who was fortunate enough to hear your sweet voice. We still sing your songs and every next generation of fans will always remember you.

The music of INXS, the voice of Michael Hutchence...discovered in a dorm room in 1982 is still my favorite. The words still move me, the music still makes me dance. My two year old loves it too! I still miss him and always will. Never enough............

just wanted to say how much i miss his voice. i went to a U2 concert right after he passed and they honored him with a photo on the screen and by playing “Never Tear Us Apart” through their speakers at the end of the concert. my friend and i cried. That was Thanksgiving U2POP tour in Atlanta, GA, which is the same city i had the great fortune of seeing Michael & INXS in another venue. Thanks for the memories. The music of INXS and his voice moves me always after all these years, as it will forever... blld

no stories. no meetings. just cd after cd of music and michaels voice. inxs for me rank right with u2 and rem. they may go on but unfortunately will do so without the distinction of all original members or a brilliant 'original' voice. good luck with the rest of it guys, waiting for another inxs cd. rest in peace michael.

I have recently become and INXS fan because of their different style of music. But I also have become a fan of Michael. And how great of a person he was. I actually miss him, i was never able to see him perform live, because I am quite young to be an actual fan. I also think it is a great thing that you, Mrs. Hutchence, Mr. Ferrari, and Mr. Patterson, have done something spectacular with this site. Not only do fans now know how great of a muscian Michael was, but also we know an off-stage side of Michael. He lives on.

May Michael's memory live on forever. He is sorely missed and can never be replaced. A beautiful man and a great musician. Between Michael and Bon Australia has lost some of its most loved sons. May the boys move onward and upward and find someone who will do Michael's memory justice!

I met Micheal & the band in 1983 in Gainesville Florida while tapiong the INXS for a TV broadcast and he was full of life and totally dedicated to bringing his intellegence and intensity to the audiences. INXS is consitantly the best live show I've seen!
I've seen them 7 times with Micheal and once in NYC w/o him fronting and even though he's gone, his presence, engery and love will always be part of our lives along with his words which will influence for decades to come... RIP, we miss you!!!!

INXS was so great when I was growing up. The album KICK and other songs were terrific, and Michael as the front man dig a wonderful job. I was watching the TV show the other night, and everyone seemed to be having fun, with young singer doing cover songs.

Michael we all miss you and think you where an excellent musican, and rock star. Its a shame that you are gone...
