A friend of mine first introduced me to the music of INXS in 1980 when he bought the album INXS
I was instantly hooked. I was about 17 at the time.
We would search the gig guides to find out what pub they were playing that week and if it was one in Sydney we would make every effort
to go and hear these guys play.
I remember one gig in particular, they were playing The Vicar of Wakefield in Dural and we got there about 4pm just so we'd get the best seats.
When they finally came on around 9pm we were about 5 foot from the front of the band (no stage, just played on the floor in front of us all).
As always they had the place raging and I remember coming out after the gig drenched in sweat and feeling fantastic.
They were some of the best days of my teen years.
I was absolutely shocked to hear the news of Micheals' death and remember thinking that we had lost one of the greatest front men of all times.
I really miss those days and miss Micheal just as much. I know how the family feel and feel for them deeply, as I also lost a brother in 1982, whose
name was Micheal also. He too was great fan of INXS.
Thanks for the great memories Micheal, INXS will never be quite the same without you. But I will always remain a loyal fan

He was a very talented young man. I never got the chance to see him in concert. I only wished I did. Hes voice was like nothing Ive never heard before. God bless his soul.
I remember the first time I saw INXS - I was watching MTV (like every other teen back in the 80's) and the video for Don't Change came on... I turned up the volume and watched, riveted by Michael Hutchence's soulful presence and his voice. I was an instant fan. I still am.
He set the bar very high as a performing artist. I will always think of him as a tremendously talented and charismatic performer. The world is blessed to know Michael Hutchence and to have his musical legacy as a tribute. Rest in peace, Michael, and know you are loved by many.

I camped out to get tickets for my first INXS concert. It was the best concert I have ever been too! Micheal was so energetic and an excellent singer. That was in 1987 and I still have yet to find a musician as wonderful as him! Rest in peace. we all miss you.
i hope he had a good ilfe.
Michael was a wonderful singer and song writer. I'm still completely hooked on his music and he is greatly missed. Rest in peace Michael.

After buying Kick when I was just out of high school, I went out and bought all the other INXS albums (or tapes ) and have been hooked ever since! I am still a fan today and often listen to Michael sing; He is sorely missed!!
I'm standin' here on the ground, INXS will never be the same without Michael, but we pray that he'll help the band from above

Summer 1987. I just turned 16 and got my drivers license. I bought INXS Kick and played it loud in my car while cruising the strip in Easton, Maryland. I then went in teh Army in 1989 and played the same album while on a boat in Turkey. I don't think those Turks that heard the music will ever be the same. The band will never be the same without Michael. He is missed.
We thankyou for shapeing our tastes in music throughout growing up . You will be sorely missed .
I remember the first time I heard INXS. I went to see a movie (I was about 13 or 14) and during the adverts they played the video for 'What You Need'. I just thought....WOW!!!! I have been hooked ever since, some 20 years on. Miss Michael loads, but at least his amazing music lives on. X

Aurevoir!

elegantly wasted, anthem of my youth. never stopped listening, never stopped admiring, never stopped loving...may god let your'e beautiful soul rest in everlasting peace xxx
Nunca haverá alguém que ocupe o lugar do estimável Michael, ele nasceu para ser o que foi e o que sempre será, o melhor o adorável vocalista que foi.

INXS was a great band!
When Michael leave us many things changed in the musical world. And also in the band.

INXS Kick was the first cd I ever owned. I saved up and bought it when I was in the 7th grade. Michael Hutchences' voice and the sounds of the rest of INXS will provide me memories to last a lifetime! Thanks for the wonderful music.
All though you are gone, your spirit will always remain in inxs' and inxs's fans hearts. you are an inspiration to all inxs and most music fans. and looking down at us living (if that is possible) you would be smiling..
INXS LIVES ON AND SO DOES YOUR INSPIRATION.

Your light will never die out. You will always be alive in the music of INXS. Your voice, your presence, your lyrics, your musicality, your sensuality...the fans will always love you, Michael. The music of INXS, going to your concerts, etc. was an important part of the soundtrack of my young teenage years. Although I hope to continue to enjoy the new music of INXS, I believe you will always, always remain a part of it in spirit. I love you and I hope you are at peace, and send my prayers to the most kick-ass rock and roll frontmen I have ever had the joy of seeing. XOXO
G'day.I'd just like to say thank you to Michael and his family.Michael was one of a kind.He was the most charismatic frontman ever to grace rock and roll.I have only just become an INXS fan but i wish that i was older so I could have had the privelege of seeing him.I could go on for hours about what a kind loving man he was,but there isn't enough time in the world.Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my feelings about Michael and his wonderful life and career. Thanks again.Ali Brown.
