The first time I went to and INXS show was in 1984. it was at football park in Adelaide. The name of the concert was THE BIG SWING. and I was 15 years old. I think the price of the ticket was $15.00 at the gate. This was my first concert and it was the first of six INXS concerts over the years.Of the six shows,The best show for me,I don;t know the year of the concert but the name of the concert was LISTEN LIKE THIVES .and the big highlight for me was that INXS had a song out with Jenny Morriss the song JACKSION .
The band had gone off stage for the first time of the night. when they come out Jenny Morriss was with then all , and they all had cowboy hats on .and Micheal threw his hat into the crowd and that hat went straight past me and I fell shit :Im never going to catch anything ever'.but when I turned to look at where the hat was going , it srarted go up like frisbee that been thrown wrongly . and it came straight towards me . I did jump pretty high up in the air and landed on the ground hard . To this day every time I see that hat I've still got it in my kitchen, I start singing that song in my head .Jackson
I would love to go to one more show , so I can relive all my INXS years of my life.
ps the best chrstmas present I got was 2 years ago 2002. it was best of INXS CD two pack .I did not think much of it at the time, but when it was time to drive home I put in in the car cd player and wow I think I just about cry all the way home 1 1/2 hour drive .
THANK YOU INXS FOR ALL THE GOOD MEMORIES.
love Jodie

Five times I saw INXS... Birmingam NEC Dec1990, SummerXS 13th July 1991, Town & Country Club in Leeds 94?, twice in one weekend Manchester and Sheffield in 1997. I remember Michael walking out in to the crowd at Sheffield down one side of the arena, climbing up over the seats, people just parted to let him through whilst he sang. Wish he'd walked the other side of the arena where I was. A living legend then ....... very soon after the world was different but still the legend inspires. R.I.P.

Michael, may your soul be free from pain. Gone far too soon. With the anniversary almost upon us, it is time to reflect on the wonder of where he might be today...of how such a talent can be gone in the blink of an eye. May you rest Michael, knowing that you are not forgotten. Fly free beautiful spirit. I miss you.

I just wanted to say how much I love Michael. He is still one of the greatest singers I've ever heard. His voice, his vibrance, is still remarkable. His voice is so soothing. I dearly miss him, but he is still hear. You can still hear him in his music, which is legendary.

Inxs have been and always will be my all time favourite band. The boys from Oz even though Michael(God rest his sole has left us)have always been true to there lyrics and all they believe in. My first son will be named Kelland and so far no-one dare question me about it.

Love to all especially the INXS boys.

I met Michael in 1993 and he was the sweetest person. I was obviously more excited to meet him than he was to meet me, but he was gracious even though he was only there to see a concert and not performing. He was a fantastic performer and I will miss him terribly. I am so sorry that he was so depressed and I've been there, too. I wish he'd been happier and could have stayed with us longer. That may sound selfish, but I know that I'm not the only one who will miss him and I offer my best wishes to his friends and family. Their loss is greater than mine. Much love for Michael and I hope he is at peace at last.
