I remember Michael on this special day the 9th aniversary of his death. He gave us some wonderful moments and the music that he and INXS created still lives on forever. He would be proud of the boys and the new frontman JD that the legacy that he was a significant part of continues to grow. “Never Tear Us Apart”

There was only one Micheal. The world lost a fabulous person. He was the embodyment of a lead singer. There will never be anyone like him again.

Dear Michael

“On the day that you were born
The angels got together
And decided to create a dream come true…”

And they did a mighty fine job.

The Sweet Prince

Once upon a distant time
In a land not so far away
A uniquely special babe was born
Creating proud parents to this day

He matured into a handsome prince
Who swept fair maidens off their feet
Everyone in the kingdom, near and far
Heard whispers of him being so sweet

His soft dark curls that framed his face
Refined the picture as whole
His dark brown eyes so kind and gentle
Would pierce your very soul

His tenderly harmonic velvet voice
That played upon our hearts
Kept one and all who heard entranced
Right from the very start

Then came the day that he was beckoned
To assume a special mission
One that could not be performed from here
As it commanded substantial vision

To see him now you need to gaze
Into the dark night skies
And watch the stars that shine so bright
He's the one sparkling in your eyes

Peace be with you, your family and friends each and every day.

In our hearts and minds forever
Love and blessings always
Helen xx

Michael Kelland Hutchence - Australian Legend, father , son, brother, friend and yet, “Just a Man” with a precious compassionate heart, a wise old soul, singing, inspiring heartfelt songs. Ian Patterson described Michael perfectly as I see him would like the rest of the world to see him, “A passionate warrior for the under-dog and the underprivileged of this world. Michael used his gift with words and melody to express his most personal feelings about many issues. Justice and peace were an important part, so also was the excitement of warm human relationships built on love and genuine affection”. Michael is still sending messages through his bandmates. INXS. “Never Tear Us Apart” voted the “best” lyrics of all time by the public! We all knew that INXS ROCK ! the others are just finding out !!

The time, the clocks on the wall, but time stands still “Remember”. The time stands still to remember ! (MH)

We remember you today and always our beloved “Shining Star” who touched so many hearts and souls all around the world.

Your Daddio, my dear friend, Kell, shared lots of stories and moments with me, and took so much joy sharing the love and meeting with fans whilst shining with pride as he learnt more and more about “all that you are…are… are !” God Bless him!!

Next year will be the 10th Anniversay and we will gather to pay special tribute and homage. However, all welcome to reflect and share quiet meal and drink at Hard Rock Cafe, Darlinghurst at 8pm Wed. 22/11/06. Love & Peace, Ange Perou (For and on behalf of the Directors of The Michael Hutchence Fan Club)

Michael, You are Remembered on this very sad day. Its been nine long and sad years for us we fans.
We miss you and I my Michael can never foget the joy of having known you atleast for a while as one of the greatest charismatic performers of all time. As a human-being, you were an exceptional one.As a father a wonderful and caring one. As a son a devoted and wonderful son .As a brother no one can ask for a better one!
I love your very presence when so very often you light up my projector screen which I bought only to gaze at you.
You awesome man,God wanted you more as we people did'nt realize your worth. I know you are in a better place with the Lord and saviour. I can feel you smile down on us.
We will never tire of thiking and longing to see you just IF once.
rest in peace YOU Loved One and know that we cherish your memory till the end of time. I know the time will come when we shall meet.
In the meantime, life here on earth is very lonely a place knowing that I can never ever see you amidst us.
Every face I look for to see any resemblence of a Michael smile but none so far.
Sad is this day but also treasured.
I will light my candle for you and sing a hynm( dont smile Michael coz I croak) but nevertheless I will for you!
You the shining star will shine on and above.
Rest in peace and look down on your beloved family and daughter for you know how much they suffered and loved you.
My prayers will include them too.
Your humble and tearful,
Erin.

Although I have already posted, I just wanted to send along one more quick note to say thanks to all who continue to keep this wonderful site up and running. I am sure that somewhere both Michael and Kell are so proud of all you have all done. The tribute on the opening page brought tears to my eyes, it was so well written and so beautiful. May God bless all of you for all your hard work and dedication. We all truly appreciate it. Also, I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers along to Michael's family: Susie, Rhett, Tina, Patricia, and most of all, Tiger Lily. May she always be secure in knowing that her daddy loved, and still loves, her so. all of you are in my prayers tonight as you mourn and remember your dear Michael. May you all feel peace, knowing that Michael is still remembered and loved by so many and that one day you will be reuinited with him in the afterlife. May God bless you all.

Although I haven't been here for so long, I had to post on this sad day. 9 long years since he has gone to the other side. How has time flown by so fast? It seems like just yesterday I heard the news. Michael has brought so much into my life, for which I am so immensely grateful, music, deep friendship, joy, and many things that I consider too personal to list here. He was an amazing man, if he only could have realized how much so. The world is a darker place without his light in it. I hope, though, that whereever he may be right now, he knows that so many of us still remember, still care, and are keeping his memory alive in our own individual ways. He was one of a kind and even though that sounds cliche, it is true in his case. Rest in peace, dear Michael. Thank you for all you have given me, and may you find that elusive peace in the afterlife that you so desperately sought while here on earth. My candle will burn brightly for you tonight, as every night, and my glass will be raised in a toast to your life and generous loving spirit. You will never be forgotten!

On this day, 9 years after Michael was taken from us, I just wanted to say that he still is remembered as a gorgeous talented man, with confidence of 100 men and that I will always be a fan, he lives through his music and i still get goose bumps and teary everytime I hear never tear us apart.
Life is short, live it to the full and enjoy.
Loved Bono's tribute to Michael at his concert in Sydney on Monday 13th November 2006.
Love

It will be 10years tomorrow for my wedding anniversary, as you passed away on a Saturday and that is the day we were going to dinner we went to Centrepoint Tower in the heart of Sydney and all I could think about was that you were lieing lonely somewhere in the morgue..

tomorrow is the 9 year anniversary and I find myself thinking of you. You still visit me occasionally in dreams-you effected me that much. My fondest early teen memories are of standing in a concert venue and staring up at you and 'getting it'-oh, that's what it's all about-sexuality, sensuality, romanticism, art, irony, BEAUTY!! There's a connection I have to you, I miss you and cherish every image I see and every memory I have (like when we met eyes in DC at RFK stadium in 1993!!). Love to you, I'll see you when I get there..
