i have been a big fan for a while and just yesterday i watch a inxs marathon on max music and couldn't help but cry in a few of the songs. i know that there will never be anyone as good as micheal and it is sad to know that someone as great as he was is not with us anymore

Having been an INXS fan from day one, i rekindled my passion just a few nights ago - seeing them live in Christchurch with another favourite - Simple Minds. Jim Kerr made a heart-felt tribute to Michael before launching into “Gloria”, a brief sombre and sad moment, and i think everyone there felt the emotion as a vision of Michael appeared briefly in their minds...But the band played on, and ROCKED! - just as good as they ever were... Thankyou INXS for the great music, and the memory of Michael Hutchence will live forever....

I would love to say thank you to Ian and the others who kept my family in their blessings. My Dad passed away just 11 days shy of the one year anniversary of my son's Dad,Matt. This to me is such a wonderful tribute to the spirit of michael and INXS. I'm sure that like my son's Dad and Grandpa ; that Hutch is looking down on Tigerlily and watching her grow. He could have found a lot of solstice in that. God Bless to All. Much Thanks!!!

Michael has always been and is a source of inspiration for all his passion.
I have had the honour of seeing INXS live several times in my life, experiences I will never forget.
I love to see the band play live whenever the band comes to South America. His legacy remains alive through their current touring.
Thank you so much to INXS for that.

Warm regards,
Fernando

Your website is a loving tribute to Michael Hutchence. I became a fan of INXS, brilliantly fronted by Michael, in 1987. My friends will always remember my solo dancing to “Need You Tonight” at a house party in 1988. Michael's sensual vocal performance on that song is so-o-o great! Thank you, Michael! And thank you to your parents for bringing you into this world. Peace and love to your family, friends and fans.

this is a poem in michael's memory.

stillness awakens,
having slept thru morning glow.
starlight beckons,
moving forward,darkness yields.
knowing much less than the stars
know.

you are truly missed
and forever loved.

Michael's voice sings on to touch many more lives deep to our very soul. Thank you Kelland Hutchence for your son Michael, without your love and support we wouldn't have Michael's songs in our minds and hearts still, here today and for the tomorrows that come after our own demise for those who follow us. A most precious beautiful daughter left as a legacy of Michael's and Paula's love, no doubt Tiger Lily is a epitome of her father as we see Michael when we look upon his own daughter's face, he is there.

Do not weep,
I only slumber until,
one day we again shall meet.
I do not ask you to forget me,
but to remember a love so deep,
daughter be brave,
do not weep,
one day we again shall meet.

Eyes like deep wells full of sparks;
floating hair framing a charming smile.
Your sole presence invading all over the place,
but, oh! I lost the chance to see your face in the flesh.
Sweet and wild at the same time
I can swear you made feel envious more than one man,
For the effect you caused in all of us your fans;
I can tell you from the bottom of my heart
that you baby, will be forever
my shinning star!

I wanted to express what Michael means to me as a person and as an artist, but I'm afraid I can't. I try to find the right words but they all seem to be empty.

His music takes me back to the 90's, to my teenage years. It was not the happiest period of my life but his voice and his lyrics gave me hopes and dreams when I needed the most.

Michael, wherever you are now I hope you've found what your were looking for.

Thank you for this.
so long Micheal.

I know it's a little late to say something but I loved a lot of Michael's music. I find myself very saddened and sobered by his untimely passing as I am sure many others do as well. I wish there was something I could do to console and help with the hurt that the family and fans must feel. But alas, I am only human as well with my own shortcomings and fears. But I have found strength elsewhere that comes from outside myself and that helps cope and carry on with life, and that brings hope for a future; even after death. I pray that you all will find the same if you haven't already and I wish you all (fans and family alike), the very best. May God bless you, one and all.

I was devestated when michael died, I saw INXS play in Darwin in the late 80's and they were pure magic. Michael was at the top of his game and it was the best concert I have ever seen to date.
It is such a loss to the music community. Very hard to believe its neraly 10 years since his demise. long live your music Michael we will never forget you!!!

the room becomes still,
although still moving
the room becomes silent,
although still caotic
they say your heart doesnt really break, but I ask can they prove it?

To Michael, when its still & silent, the tears flow from the inside out.
