His voice was intoxicating and you could feel every emotion he felt when he sang. I think he was the greatest singer who had not only the talent to sing, but had razmatazz looks to go with it. There will never be another like him....

It's the first time I'm on this site. I have been a huge fan of INXS since the end of the 80's. And I remember the day Michael died. I was living in Norway at that point. I was watching the early news on TV before I left for work. I couldn't belive what I heard. I was shocked and very sad. I never got the chance to see Michael live, but in 2003 INXS performed here in Copenhagen and I had the chance to see them. It was a really beatifull perform. They played Never Tear Us Apart as a tribute for Michael...and I remember that it felt like he was right there. It was a wonderful feeling. I have never forgot you Michael...and I guess I never will. Now, almost 10 years after your death I still miss you and play your music. I hope we will meet one day!

It's been a while since i've been on this site, though Michael is not very far from my mind, i feel i had moved on, til now. I saw inxs recently and it was very hard for me. I first joined the inxs information centre back in 1984. The 6 boys became my imaginary big brothers, i was only 13, Michael became my idol. 100 % I saw the band collect their 7 countdown awards live, i saw them live atleast 13 times and was as renown for being a fan as they were famous. Michael had the biggest influence on me than anyone in my life. From a shy teenager, i grew my hair long, swaggered and swayed and became Micheal when my shyness would try to rule me. I suffered through my acne Knowing Michael had too. The day he died a huge part of me died too, and i am feeling it know. God i miss you. The day of his funeral i stood outside with all the others. A man came up to me, he must have seen the pain in my face, and he asked me if i wanted to come inside. I dont think i could even talk. I sat their and felt every emotion possible. I will never forget how much i hated that day. I miss you mr Cool.

cant belive its been so long since you been gone, you touched my life in so many ways...INXS are still going , and as always im going to watch, but it just isnt the same without you...the ultimate showman.. god be with you mike, your missed by all whose lives you touched god bless xxxxx

It has been almost ten years since you past, still missing you Michael.
Patrick Lyons left the same way you did, on the same day, one year later. You both were talented musicians. Loved you both! Happy to have seen you in London '93. Sad to visit you at your grave in Sydney. You will always rock my world. Love you!

This website is so important; it is a true testament to the grace and understanding of Michael's nearest and dearest. I will not write about how special he was and how much his memory is treasured. That, is obvious-and I'm just a fan! I just wanted to say thank you to the ones that have made this webiste happen and felt it possible to share such personal and intimate aspects of Michael's life, right up to the end. Thank you.

I hope people see this wonderful tribute and realize they are not alone. Everyone feels awful pain and sadness. That is when you must reach out before a tradegy happens and we all suffer even more.

I hope all his family and friends have found peace and comfort through the memories.

Been a fan of Michaels since well... when I heard Listen Like Thieves' “Kiss the Dirt” still a favorite and I've followed his music since. Attended INXS concert in Atlanta at the lakewood fairgrounds sometime in 92'. Bought every album including MAX Q...Thanks INXS for the memories.
