TO TIGER,RHETT, TINA I KNOW ALONG TIME MICHAEL'S DEATH BUT HE WILL ALWAY BE HERE IN THE LIFE OF PEOPLE WHO LOVE INXS THE WAY HE DROVE THEIR EVERY SHOW THAT I HAD THE PLEASURE OF SEEING. HIS WAY OF CONTROL THE FANS AS WE WATCH HIM MOVE ALL ABOUT THE STAGE WAS SO AWSON. I HAD A CHANCE TO SEE JIM MORRISON, BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT HE HAD THE SAME COMMANDING CONTROL WITH FAN OF THE DOORS. SO AS I WATCHE MICHAEL WALK ON STAGE WAITED IN GREAT WONDER WHAT HE WOULD START THE SHOW WILL EASH TIME IT WAS FOR ME LIKE GOD GIVING ME THE CHANCE TO BE APART OF INXS WITH SINGIN' ALONE WITH ALL THEIR GREAT SONGS AS I DID EVERY SHOW BEFORE, AS I HAVE DONE WITH EACH PLAYER THEIR MUSIC IN MY CAR, HOME, ON THE JUKE-BOX IN CLUBS ANYTIME I HAVE BEEN WATCHING ONE OF MY VIDEO, DVD'S. I HAD ONE OF THAT GREATEST DAY'S OF MY LIFE IF NOT THE GREATEST EVER WHEN I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE PICKED TO BE IN INXS SEARCHING VIDEO, AFTER MICHAEL THE BAND PERFORM THE NIGHT BEFORE AT THE AZTEC THEATER, I WILL CARRY THAT SATURDAY AS MY CHANCE TO SING ALONE WITH A GOD OF MUSIC HIMSELF. I FELT THE CLOSES I WOULD EVER BE ABLE TO GET TO HIM WAS WATCHING HIM SING ORIGINAL SIN, CAUSE AT THE TIME IT CAME OUT I WAS A YOUNG BLACK GUY DANCE DATING WHITE GIRL IT WE FELT THAN AS I DO NOW HE WAS SAYING TO THE WORLD LOVE HAS NOT COLOR LINE! I NEVER WAS ABLE TO THANK HIM IN PERSON BUT I LOVE HIS PASSION TO GIVE HIS MUSIC A CONNECTION TO EVERYONE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HEAR IT LIVE. TO ME HE IS ROCK MASTER LIKE LENNON, HENDERIX.I WILL FOREVER KEEP HIS MUSIC AND PASSION ALIVE IN MY SOUL AND HOPE TIGER WILL ALWAYS BE TOLD HOW SPECIAL HER FATHER WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE TO EVERY ONE LIFE WHO EVER GET THE HONOR OF HEARING AND WATCHING PERFORM, AND MAY GOD BLESS HER WITH THE AMAZING TALENT HE HAD TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD. HE'S A GIFT GOD GAVE TO THE WORLD TO BRING JOY INTO PEOPLE SOUL'S AND HE WAS A WAY GOD SHOW'S HIS LOVE FOR ALL MAN-KIND.

No parent should ever bury their child, it goes against the laws of nature, for that I pray for the Huctchence family. For reasons I cannot fathom I have had Michael Hutchence continually on my mind for nearly 2 weeks. This is puzzling due to the fact I never knew him, never saw him in concert own none of his music. I did know of him respected his sound that of all the band which makes this haunted feeling I'm having curious troubling. I'm an Astrologer. After having these peculiar images the first thing I did was research his chart there it was. Michael was a man of seeming openness lightness, but he wasn't. He was so earthy intense did not manage conflict well one bit. He was prone to putting his emotions in corners letting them pile up pulling out what he needed when he needed them. He was stubborn, sensual practical all at once. He was so sweet but prone to passions destructive excesses which he thought helped him cope with feelings he couldn't contain. I needed to interpret his chart in order to make sense of his life his death, which was, in my opinion accidental a culmination of years of angry events synchronizing. He was a natural performer but in the end the depths of his soul emotions had no where to vent, the stage was no longer where he wanted them to be displayed. He wanted to make so many changes in his life for '98...I wish I could have known him as I know I could have applied my skills to assist him in prevailing over his very dark nights of the soul. I suspect that the reason I see him in my dreams is because there will be some update, news light shed surrounding his passing life that thus far has been withheld. I also believe his daughter will be much more like her father than mother(a very good thing after learning Paula's chart) ultimately she will be just fine. Like Princess Diana and JFK, Jr.some people were meant to stay in the 20th Century and not progress into the 21st Century. Michael was one of them. He didn't have to be. Michael has touched me more in death than he did in life. That sustains my belief that his consciousness did not die. His Dad is his greatest hero, don't write Michael's life off yet, I suspect there's more to come.

Wish you were still roaming the planet, brightening it with your smile and rocking it with a presence no-one could match.
I wish you could see your smile in Tigers. I wish these things not only for his family but as a selfish wish of my own.
Oh. if only you could have stayed, if only you could have foreseen. You are so missed, you are so loved, you will be forever the loved one.

Life is complicated. At 33 years of age I realize that what seems simply to the outside world just isn't. I have been thinking a lot of Michael what drew him to his end although I clearly don't know anything for certain, but what I do know is that whatever it was it lead him to his end for that I'm awfully sad. I'm sad that his father, mother, sister, brother, partner, daughter, band members life long friends lost someone so dear. As someone who drew up listening to Michael's music continues to find new meaning in his lyrics, his voice his life.. its such a loss. The world, like never before needs someone like Michael in it.

Your terribly missed Michael.

Dear Michael,

I still miss you and think of you often. I received a DVD video of Live Baby Live concert at Wembley Stadium (1991) as a Christmas gift from my son, Jake in 2008. For some reason I have been watching that dvd quite a bit much lately. I sure do miss you.

Sincerely and with Love,
Kathleen (43)

I attended North Hollywood High School in the mid-1970's, believe it not, Michael was a good friend of mine. When he transferred into our school, I was a volunteer for the American Foreign Field Service Chapter at our High School, I was assigned to look after Michael to help integrate him into our school scene in that he was originally from Australia. We took a lot of classes together, hung out after school on good occassion. Micheal was a good student, he was a kind gentle person. Somewhat shy & reserved. He taught me some things about his homeland, enlightened me to the following slang; “G'Day Mate” “Dingy Doy” ( something like that!). I remember he was fully into music, but at the time, it seemed to sometimes be a burden on him, in that he had often told me that his Mom pushed him so hard in regard to his music studies, to the point where he lacked the free time he desired. After I graduated High School, I started my own business, and completely lost touch with Michael, although I would think of him and wonder what became of Michael from time-to-time. I never knew what he did with his life after High School. In the late 1990's, when I learned how to use the Internet, I attempted to look-up Michael, to see if I could find his contact information in order to get in touch with him. It is then I learned of his tragic death, and the fame he realize as a rock star, in his career. My prayers are always with him and his family. Regards,

Always in our hearts....
Just last night I saw (once again) The gift video clip on TV.... It seems so fresh, so full of life, just a bunch of young happy boys doing their best and having the time of their life.... It's so hard to believe you're gone, so hard I prefer to deny the truth... You're here with us, no matter what. There are so many of us who love you and cherish your voice and your presence. Kindest regards to the whole INXS family

I loved Michael from a far and what he brought to the music of INXS. When I first saw them in Sheffield at the Octagon in the 90's they all took my breath away!
I can only just listen to his songs without feeling sad nearly 12 years on I still remember where I was when the news broke he had gone! I love the song that the band dedicated to him on the Switch album (Gods Top Ten)
Love you what a gentleman! God Bless xx

I was listening to satellite radio this evening and they were playing the Top 40 countdown from 1988 and one of INXS hits was played and it brought back memories of when I was in high school. I remember when Michael passed away it was a shock to the whole world. I decided to google the band and found this website. I just wanted to say that this is an awesome tribute to a wonderful musician and it is evident that he was extremely loved and is still terribly missed. It is always sad to lose a love one but at least his music will always live on and his voice can always be heard. God Bless!
