Yes it was a shock.No one really knows what is in one's mind,but it definitely was brilliant in Michael's case.I discovered INXS while working in a record store in the early 80's.Born in 1960 as well,I did not miss the purchase of an “album” and would look at the liner notes and the pictures.Not nearly as impersonal as downloading and digital,as the kids are accumulating their music collection...on their computer ,now a days.But there is no doubt INXS is on their i-pod.P
no one can or ever will come close to making us feel the way u did. how sad it is to have lost one of the greats.

michael it is over 11 years now since your death although i loved you and your band i cannot bring myself to listern to any of their new stuff you were the voice of INXS forever I still think of you sometimes as much as my son whom was lost some 7 years now god bless you.
