From the first strains of “Don't Change”...I was instantly changed!!! What a unique sound and energy...I was reviatalized & knew that this year was my year...1983. Sure enough, got re-married, 3 daughters & 7 grandchildren later I still get chills everytime I hear “my song”. You live forever Michael!!!!!! THANK YOU INXS!!!!!!

Happy 50th Birthday Michael! These past few days have been a real joy as many of your fans have come together to celebrate your life and your musical genius. While you are sadly missed, you'd be pleased to know that your music and memory lives on. I'm sure you know. I'm sure you hear us. So many people have told me that they've heard more INXS music on the radio in the past week than they normally hear in a month. I bet that's you saying 'hello' and letting us know that you're still with us in spirit. You've had so many great achievements. Your best in my opinion are your beautiful daughter and your incredible music. I've met so many young people as a result of being a part of the various INXS fansites. Kids who were just born or very little when you left us. Kids who are inspired to become musicians themselves because of you. What a beautiful thing. The only thing that could be better is having you hear with us. Give my regards to your dad. We know you're off having an adventure somewhere.

The tribute this year was wonderful, Mr. Patterson. What a treat to see these wonderful pictures, hear these stories and be privy to the making of musical history. Thanks so much.

Dear Michael you was born on friday like today, its a beutiful day, for me you always gonna be alive, you was born 22 junuary 1960 that day was a friday, it's wonderful, darling you're 50th, how you will be now? The people like you die young, always the best of the life is for short time, but Hutch I'll love you forever this love never died, thank you God to gived us Michael 37 years, he died so young, and we never gonna forget him.

Great man, great musician, great father. The world needs more Michael Hutchences. Thanks for the 37 years you shared between us, now fly back to heaven, angel.
