I am 34 years old and have been a fan since the age of tweleve. One of my fondest childhood memories consisted of me pretending my mother's tennis racquet was my guitar, turning the vaccum cleaner around using the handle as a mic and blaring through Listen Like Thieves and Kick full volume beginning to end. I am now a musician and every time I play in front of a crowd I just think about those wonderful times full of imagination. Michael is to this day a huge influence on my music. I felt compeled to leave this message out of admiration and love for one of my heros, Jeremy(Jeremiah Bullfrog) Sasser USA

I grew up on INXS. Thank you Michael for everything you have given us. Wherever you are, I send you love and peace.

Michael - I grew up watching you from a far, but we were paralles in spirit. I know how it feels to have the world close in on you, but I will live for my children and never leave them until it is entirely necessary. I'll see you on the other side my friend - we'll make sense of it all then.

I was watching Underbelly last night and heard “Don't Change”. I grew up with INXS, and whenever I randomly hear an INXS song it triggers in me just how much I loved the music and just how bloody damn good they were. I pulled out my greatest hits cd and played in louder than loud today.. I still remember the exact moment when I heard that Michael passed away - I was sunbaking on Coogee Beach at about 2 in the afternoon.. there was a group girls sitting about 5 metres away from me and one of them took a phonecall on her mobile.. she shouted out that Michael Hutchence had just been found dead. It is one those moments in my life that I can remember as clear as a bell even though it has been quite a few years..it makes me realise just how great he was and what a tragic and sad loss. There will never be anyone like him.. But how lucky I am to have INXS as the soundtrack to my life! And might I add how disgusting that people would put inappropriate messages here.

I've loved INXS since around 8th grade, almost as long as I've loved U2. It's funny (in a weird way) that I took some time to read the history of my at-the-time favorite song “Stuck in a Moment” to find out it ws written for Michael. I guess that only made me love INXS more. I listened to the songs I loved with a closer ear. It's so sad to know he would still be fronting this great band he would still be writing songs we'd all love. His death was a blow to the music industry, now we'll never hear the songs he would have written. RIP Hutch, I think about you all the time.

Attending INXS concerts, especially the one where we met dear Michael, has become a cherished part of our family history.

Listening to INXS on the way to school and dance lessons while singing our hearts out become a daily selfish pleasure.

Our family traveled to out of state concerts and eagerly awaited each new album and tour.

We celebrated Michael's life and suffered together through his death.

We were truly blessed to be able to say “Thank you” to Michael only two months before he was gone.

Now years later Michael is still a part of our lives as he often appears in our dreams...

Michael,you were a beautiful soul.I still can't believe you're no longer on this earth!Your music kept me going through some rough times over the years.I have so many happy memories listening and sharing your music.My daughter is 25 now and when she was 18 she sang 'Mystify' with me on my 40th birthday,it was a very special moment for me to be able to share your music with her!Not to mention she became a fan of you too!Thank God we have your music to listen to.Your memory will live on forever Michael.Thankyou for the music.x x x x x x x x x x x x x x.

Michael, my heart bleeds since you left us. I miss you so much. And also my best friend and great musician Volker Memmel left us. Tell him I will never forget him as I promised on his grave. Live Aid Concert!!!! You rocked the world!!!!

Yesterday i was sitting in the car at sunset, listening to “Just a man” - it really gave me goosebumbs...what an amazing piece of music. When i arrived at home i needed a few minutes, before i left the car...Thank you so much Michael and INXS for all these beautiful moments in my life. No one else comes close - to you guys!!!

I miss you greatly Michael, My 2 kids are growing up watching & listerning to you. I have followed Inxs since the early 80's Have been to see them heaps of times,I have video footage of my 2 yo at the time imitating your everymove on stage, just after my 9mo was born last year, they were doing the agar test disapear came on, so with our photo's we have the song going in the background,Our daughter will know what song was on at the time,I have had this happen so many times @ work, home or driving in the car. Michael comes on heaps of people have commented & witnessed it. miss u heaps. Love LEE.
