I met Michael when I was working for the head of music at Paramount Pictures and we did the movie Face/Off soundtrack with him and INXS. He was a sweet guy and very excited to be doing movies, and was looking forward to doing some acting. He had some scripts he was reading. I always had loved the music of Michael and INXS and meeting him, seeing the last concert at The Greek theater here in LA was awesome. Of course, we did not know it would be the last...I thought I had made a friend in Michael, and I thought I would see him again. I think of him often ...
INXS is quite simply the greatest band I never got to see live, far superior to ACDC, Rolling Stones or U2. The Live baby Live at Wembly dvd is so unbelievably powerful I cannot stop watching it.

Dear Hutchence family, I have been a true fan of Michael's since I was 12 years old. The very first cassette tape I purchased was INXS Kick. I am 35 now and I still have it. When I hear an INXS song on the radio, it brings back so many fond memories. I still remember them playing at the VMAs years ago. I wanted to let the family know that I am very sorry for your loss; I am sure it is still as fresh as it was 13 years ago. I cried for about a month. I also think that Tigerlilly should not be absent in your lives. Grandparents make up for the personality and values that a parent is unable to provide. I know I am a lot like my parents, yet different in my own ways. Your son has been a huge influence on my life. I honestly say that INXS is my favorite all time band. I also want to let you know that Michael is in a good place now. I have suffered from addiction and depresion for half of my life. It is a struggle every day. I lost the love of my life 14 years ago to suicide as well. I remember his favorite song was 'Never Tear Us Apart'. God forgives those who know they are sick. I am sure you feel his energy in your lives everyday. He is with you always. Love, Christie
I was listening to, Mystify and never tear us apart on youtube today, and i got so engrossed in the videos and listening to micheals amazing voice. My older siblings loved INXS when i was younger and i guess i never really appreciated how amazing he is until quite recently. I get goosebumps all over when i hear his voice, its so sad that he is no longer with us. I hope he carries on singing in heaven. xx

I was dancing and listening to Michael during the Original Sin. I told my friends, these guys would be huge and I was right. When Michael passed, I was visiting family in Florida, I drove home a day later and listen to every INXS CD on the way home. I still dance around my office listening to that great music and watching Michael on Video's. Good bless the family, I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts.
It's in my childhood's best memories. Live baby live was the first cd i bought, inxs in 1994 was the first band i had seen alive in my short life (i was still 13). We all miss him so much. Today, i've seen some videos in youtube and i got nostalgic. I remember i was a part of the argentinian fans blub. We were just a few at the beginning!!!! We used to meet once every 2 months or something to tell the news, in “plaza congreso”. I was a teenager. Now i'm 30, and i listen to that great music and voice, and i become a teenager again. I only knew Michael the “singer” of INXS. Yet i'm convinced that he was the dedicated man, father, grand father, the human as much as he was the dedicated singer of the group.
He will be missed, not just by me, but even my kids, who are not old enough to even like music of the time he sang with INXS.
I know his legacy will go one, but at this point in time, personally, even if the band INXS still goes on with a new lead vocal, it's just not the same, and will never be the same.
I still listen to those songs ever since his departure, and will not settle for anything else.

Found myself youtubing old videos today and came across The Loved one. Still after all this time,that voice brings me to tears. I still find myself dancing in fuzzy socks across my kitchen floor to the Kick album. Thank you for all that you brought to my world Michael. You will forever be missed.

Wow, what a beautiful site! If I had to think of one word to sum up Michael it would be “Amazing” Such a talented man! INXS is my favorite group. My favorite song is Disappear. I just can't help but listen to the powerful voice Michael has while singing this song.

I fainted at my first INXS concert at the Docklands arena in london when I was 13, and then at the last one I went to, in the June before Michaels death, I was 8 months pregnant. I was such a massive fan, no music gig that I have been to since has stood up to the excitement I felt watching Michael perform.He was a true legend and noone can replace him in my heart.
Me again! So I dit it yesterday....a lovely bottle of Laurent Perrier by the river with view on Big Ben (the exact spot) dancing and kissing on Never Tear us apart with my ex....yes Devil inside! He did not know why I wanted to do that and when I put the music on he said : I love that song....yeah me too! LOVE
Just wanted to say that I used to listen to Michael's music when I was younger. I recently found some of that music and I remember it well and like it just as much now. I'm so sorry for the loss of Michael. He seemed like such a wonderful person.

Though i'm 49 years old i have only been using the net for a few months and i am so happy i have found such a wonderful tribute to Michael.Almost 13 years since Michael left this earth but it seems like just yesterday.When i listen to his beautiful voice i know he's not far away.When i watch his dvd's i still shed a tear and i know i always will but i can also laugh at his antics at times,especially his 'brilliance' on the guitar! Michael is one in a million and he'll be forever in my heart.Love to his family and friends.'We all have wings' ...Love ya Michael,i hope i have the privilege to meet you in eternity XX
