To all of the Hutchence family, you probably will never know how much joy Michael's music brings to people like myself. I started listening to INXS when I was in my late teens and as the years go by I appreciate listening to it more and more. I am currently listening to The Very Best of INXS on Spotify singing along and reading all about Michael on your wonderful website at the same time with a tear in my eye.

I can remember the first time I ever heard in a play in my house I must of been 3 or 4yrs old my mum singing away to listen like thieves it's always been her favourite song and I sang with her trying to pick up what lyrics I can sing.
Inxs has been through all my life since then and I can't thank you enough for bringing me love for music everyday my mum loved Michael so much and I can remember when she came back from live baby live concert in Wembley with the biggest smile on her face and said that was the best concert ever they sounded amazing!!!! I was too young to go but was very jealous !
She then went on to seeing them again in Brixton in London and touched his hand and foot witch I think she never came back down to earth until we found out he passed away that day I will never forget it's like we lost a member of our family she wouldn't speak to anyone for days not even me she was so heartbroken and the songs kept playing every single day now I'm listening to them every day and I thank you Michael for beinging such happiness in our family and the love of music I hope heaven is good up there sending you love Micheal and god bless you

I have only discovered INXS and the amazing Michael recently at the age of 25. What amazes me is how current the music sounds all of these years later! I am blown away by the lyrics, the creativity of the music videos and the stage presence Michael had. I've also recently started listening to the Max Q album which, by the way, deserved so much more recognition! I know it sounds silly, but watching old interviews makes me feel like I knew Michael personally; it just shows how warm his personality was and that he could draw you in so easily! Thank you Michael for sharing your gift with the world- your music will live on forever!

Back few days- keep thinking haven't written to you - could write a thousands pages but none of my words feel truth. I once wrote "Spending five minutes with someone can be as meaningful as a lifetime" - guess some truth in that! But words are words - it's people like you who fill & string words with their own consciousness - giving meaning where there was none before - drawing out the subconscious for all to see and understand without fear or pain. I have always loved the music of INXS and mourned Michael Hutchence. His solo album is incredible and I am so fortunate to have the privilege of listening to it and learning more about his wonderful life. He is now singing to the angels and hope to hear him again on the other side.

Michael, as a young kid in the 80's discovering pop/rock music etc, I was lucky enough for the guy in my local record shop to recommend me 'Kick' as a must have album to my new collection. Honestly say, INXS and you were a great inspiration musically and in many other ways growing up as a teen. Was lucky to see you a few times in concert and even Wembley, plus I managed to touch your fingertips being on the front row at one of your gigs, was gutted I couldn't get a proper 'Hutch' high five. Stay Young! RIP
