Beautiful tribute. I was not a great fan but I was saddened by his untimely death. I would like to have seen at least one picture of Paula Yates in the tribute, as Michael must have loved her deeply and she is darling Tigers mum. Still I guess u have your reasons for omitting any reference to her. Deepest sympathy and may his light always shine. Regards lynne

I'm 46, and listening to Michael and the band made me feel 16 again. Thanks Michael for the special times we had together.
This is indeed a “smashing” website.(Iquote Michael's words at the end of Elegantly Wasted gig in Newcastle, England. I was fortunate to meet michael and the band afterwards,they were all wonderful people. I remember a T-shirt that Michael wore many years ago on “The Tube” (British TV music show, I stillhave it on tape) it said “Watch the world argue” think about it!! Kind regards and Thoughts to all of Michaels friends and family especially Tiger and Paula. may everyone be at peace.

Even though it has been several years since Michael's passing, it is still hard to believe. Michael was a very talented person and sometimes the media was to hard him. My heart goes out to his family for such a great loss. At least now Michael can rest.

I had just woken up on that Saturday morning when my brother had told me of Michael's death. I was blown away, INXS was just in Vancouver a few months before. I called a few friends and let them know; it was awful having to tell them. It was truly a horrible for those who were fans, I can only imagine what his family was going through. My favorite INXS memory would be when “Kick” was released and how everyone went rushing to get it. I truly believe that the world was a better place for having a charismatic person like Michael in it. My thoughts go out to his family/friends and may he rest in peace.

It' taken this long for me to be able to read about Micheal or look at pictures of him without feeling upset and breaking down, the first twelve months were unbearable,I had some very dark thoughts going through my mind.I've been a fan since 1980, I used to see Micheal in restaurants around inner Sydney quite a bit in the early days. thank you Kell for the great site.

I'm a musician who is still so inspired by Michael. Not only for his musical capabilities (wow!) but also by his grace and, indeed, all of his excesses,too.
