What a beautiful memorial for your son, and deservedly so!! His music and creativity brought my entire family so much joy..the mold was truly broken with Michael's passing. Still can't believe he's gone. We miss him so!!

I fell in love with INXS when I saw the video for The One Thing in the early 80's. Just two weeks ago I bought listen like thieves on CD because everything else i own except for swing is on tape or LP. i still love the music and i only wish Michael was still here. This memorial website is beautiful. It honors his life in such a profound yet quiet way. Thank you for sharing your most precious memories with the world. Everytime i listen i think of Michael and hope that those who knew and loved him are being comforted by each other and their angels. God bless.
I have always been inspired by Michael and his music. I think about him on a regular basis and his family. I can't put into words how badly I feel about the loss of Michael. Michael was truly a spiritual person who helped me through a lot of tough times (and still does) with his words of hope and love. My family (including the pets) all love to listen to Michael & INXS. I hope he knows how much he is loved and missed. He's truly left a positive mark in this world.

I was actually doing a project on Micheal for a school assignment when I stumbbled across ths memorial site and can I tell you I have spend hours just reading over all the precious memories that so many people had said about Michael. This was not my intention. I truly admire Michael - no-one will ever be able to replace his vivacity, charisma, soulful voice, his amazing presence as a performer and artist. I was in Sydney last week visting friends when I went to visit the beautiful monument in the North Ryde Crematorium. It was such a wonderful spot to reflect and pay respect to such an amazing person - your son Michael. I later went snowboarding in Perisher and was fortunate enough to see INXS perform at Jindabyne with Jon Stevens. I had never seen the band play live before so it was quite an experience. I was disappointed that I never got to see Michael perform with the band on their 1997 tour but this was truly a wonderful performance all the same.

I had always dreamed of being in Sydney for the New Millenium. My husband and I went, but the celebration was marred by Michael's death. I honestly could not stop thinking about his life and tragic death as I toured Australia. It's still hard for me to listen to INXS, it makes me teary. He touched so many, and is missed.
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO OFFER MY PRAYERS TO EVERYONE THAT THIS WONDERFUL MAN TOUCHED. INXS WAS THE FIRST VIDEO I SAW. MICHEAL WAS MY IDOL. I WAS NEVER GOOD ENOUGH TO BE A MUSICIAN, BUT I SANG ALL THEIR TUNES WITH ALL MY HEART. I SAW THEIR LAST PERFORMANCE NEAR MY HOME IN PITTSBURGH, PA. MICHEAL WAS UNREAL. I STILL CANNOT HOLD BACK MY TEARS WHEN I HEAR HIS MUSIC, IT IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT IT THAT GETS INTO YOUR SOUL AND LIFTS YOUR SPIRIT. I ALSO HAVE A CRUEL REMINDER THAT HAUNTS ME EVERY YEAR: MICHEAL PASSED AWAY ON MY BIRTHDAY, SO I ALWAYS HAVE A TOAST FOR HIM AND HIS MATES AND FAMILY. Just wanted to say this is the most beautiful site for Michael. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us... It's been a while since he's left us but his spirit lives on. I love his solo CD and I've listened to it everyday since I got it. He was such a beautiful man inside and out -with great spirit. I wish all his family and friends peace. It affected me very deeply when he died. I can't imagine how I would have felt had I known him.
He brought me lots of happiness and joy and great memories.
I will always miss his sweet soul.

Here in York, PA, we miss MKH with such a passion. I had the pleasure of meeting Michael on many occassions. He was just a man, a father, a lover, and a ultimate performer. His music will live on in all Inxs' fans hearts.
So greatly loved, so sadly missed, but never forgotten.
