i got lost today in myself while listening to Hutch's solo album, so inspired was i that i picked up my pen and wrote to him, for him, a poem. as a poet this is precious to share my gift with a man so wonderful. and though it may not sound much this poem holds dear with me as it is the first i have written to a person, for a person, without actually knowing them... but such is the power of Hutch and so beautiful the memories shared on this site i feel i do, and i'd like to share my poem with all who care to read it:

'driving down life in a hutchback.'

search for that you desire
truth will hold you dear.
look me in the eye
there is no need for fear.

live today and tomorrow
for tomorrow never comes.
be simple and inspire
before today is gone.

smile to your friends
to let them inside.
society is precious
there is no need to hide.

so follow your goals,
follow your dreams.
be the best person that you can be.

embrace today,
look forward to tomorrow.
celebrate life, don’t wallow in sorrow.

RIP Hutch.
-Aidan, 2k1.

i heard that inxs were touring over states again. I think that is great news. im really happy that inxs are still doing what they like to do. no offence to jon stevens but micheal was a great singer and no-one can ever take his place.

Tigerlilly is a very lucky girl to have such a great father.

well better go

all my thoughts go out to the hutchence family

I still find it hard to believe that someone who had such a strong and bright energy has been gone for more than a few years. I cannot believe that we cannot see him anymore...

I was terribly shocked to hear the death of Tiger's mum last year also. It hurt and gave me tears reading the loving letter Michael wrote to her just before his death. In a way, who could blame her for struggling so much after losing such a person -- who she rightly described as “my universe”. All I can pray now is that they, both as parents of Tiger, are happy together in where they are now and will protect Tiger for years to come.

Love, Mari

I grew up listening to INXS. They were my mom's favorite group at the time. I still love the music today and listen to the KICK cd every single night while falling asleep in bed. I didn't know Michael Hutchence, but I know his music and love him for making me feel the way I do when I hear his sweet voice or see him dance around on stage with such awesome feeling. He will always and forever have a place in my heart. Jesika Marie Dougherty, 2001

At Frist: Thanks to Michaels Father, for this brilliant done web-side, because it's one of the best I have seen so far (very detailed).

I am a fan of INXS and Michael since 1982, so almost 20 years now.

Like we are all, I am very sad to know that there is no possibility to hear new songs of this brilliant singer and songwriter, or to go to a concert to see him performing.

In this case, I think a lucky fellow, because I won a ticket for the Rockpalast-Concert on the Loreley.

What I couldn't imagination at that time, that this would be the frist and last time to see him live on stage, what a bereavement !!!!!!

All the world's a stage and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts.

MAY GOD'S GRACE BLESS YOU MICHAEL....

Just enjoying listening to KICK, begining to end, for the first time in a while. It reminded me of my youngest brother's band and the first time I heard them play. “Need You Tonight” is the song I best remember them playing. I didn't know much about Michael before visiting this beautiful website but now I feel as though I know a little bit about the man behind the voice. God bless Michael, his family and friends.

When I get upset, hearing the excitement at Jon Stevens singing Michael's songs, its nice to come here and read all the loving messages to Michael. He will never be replaced, and its comforting to know there are so many like me, who will always love him.

I really enjoy this website and I would really enjoy it if Kelland and family wrote a book about Michael's life from their own views and include family photos!

There are alot of sham books out there quickly written to cash in by strangers and such and I would enjoy Kelland's account of Michael's life!

I would also like to say Hello to Rhett!!

I first saw Inxs many years ago when I was 14. I was tatally drawn into Michael's spirit. After that like I'm sure many young girls did my room became his shrine. When he passed on I felt like I lost a part of myself, even though I had never met him. I am so glad that you are keeping his memory alive with this beautiful web site.

I saw INXS play at Magic Mountain Many years ago, before they became huge - it was a show I will never forget! They were brilliant and I will always treasure the fact that I saw them play there in a small setting. My love to Michael's family and friends.

For Michael,

I miss you.
I worry for your child.
I wonder about your death.
But most of all I miss you.

Especially when I hear your voice or see you on one of my old tapes. It's a shock to me to think of you as being gone.

I hope you have found some comfort wherever you are.

For the creators of this site, thank you very much.
