I saw INXS playing at a hotel in Batemans Bay on New Years Eve 1982 before they struck it bigtime. Michael was so talented and had such charisma, I knew he would become famous. Such a young age to die.His daughter looks so much like her father, how sad she will now grow up without knowing her father or mother.

I stumbled across this site today and was extremely moved by it. I had no idea this existed and I'm SO happy I know about it now! This is a BEAUTIFUL site and appropriate for such a BEAUTIFUL, passionate soul named Michael. Although I never met him personally, I feel a bond with him through his inspiring lyrics and captivating music. I was fortunate enough to see him in concert twice out here in the desert. And I still enjoying seeing him in my dreams. I was deeply saddened by his passing and said a few prayers for his family and his dear little girl.

Thank you for such a remarkable website and holding his torch high so it never burns out.

Peace and love!

This site is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much to all of you dedicated souls for keeping the memory alive. I'm such a young fan, but I was DEEPLY touched by his death. As I “grew up” these past 3 years, the pain I felt with the absence of Michael (in the physical form) on this earth subsided. However, visiting this site, looking at the pictures, and reading all of the beautiful messages his friends and admirers have left in his memory bring back those old feelings. It's been said dozens of times, and people will continue to say it probably for all time - Michael was an absolutely beautiful being. I never had the honor of meeting him in person, something which was my mis-fortune... However, I don't know about anyone else, but somehow, in his death I felt very close to him. I know it's strange, but it's true.

I'm so happy that I've found such wonderful people through these sites that I can relate to, and vice-versa. Thank you all.

🙂

I am a singer, song writer, and entertianer who deeply embraces the legacy of Hutch, every time I open my lips in song I feel his prescence in my heart.

A line from one of my songs to Hutch and family.

Was I sent here for a reason sometimes I can't figure it out or am I a treason a treason of my own doubt, and just like a candle that's already been blown out you've always wanted the little I never had but ,it yea, it belongs to you now.(TreayFinn)

Inxs will be playing soon near by-even though I love the music -it just won't be the same without Micheal-I feel it would be a very sad situation-therefor-I can't make myself go. Micheal's voice and the way he danced on stage made the concert-he is truley missed.

I am so thankful for this site as it is such a comfort to visit when you are feeling down about the lack of respect to Michael's memory on a certain website, as each time you mention him, most times it will get deleted, like he doesn't matter any more..But he will always matter to me and so will you Kell for making all this possible..

I raise my glass to you and to Mario for everything that is Michael's memory on this site and so much more!

cheers, Love and Peace and a million thanks to this site! for having somewhere with depth to go to!

What a beautiful tribute to Michael. My heart aches for his family and friends. Losing a loved one is a terrible thing to endure. To Michaels family- you have created a lovely tribute to your son. May he rest in peace. God bless you all.

I was further introduced to INXS by someone and when I saw 'INXS' during the Olympics, it doesnt really sound the same...

The beat of the heart of the band was Michael and will always be Michael...

No matter what, Michael will be the LEAD singer of INXS, even though he's gone to be with the Lord...

Rest in peace, Michael and love and condolences to everyone involved...

I think of Michael often. I can't understand why his daughter was given to Bob Geldhof after the death of her mother. Nor do I understand why the remainder of the band is still trying to tour under the same name, when the very heart of the band is gone....

I guess I don't have all the facts.
Lotta, 01.04.2001
A wonderful site. I come here now and then to look at pictures and remember. I have been a fan for many years and have enjoyed INXS in consert. Listen to his voice makes me sad and brings out memories.

Rest in peace Michael.

I met Michael when I drove him & the band in April of 1997 in NYC when they were taping VH1 Hard Rock Live, he was a nice guy and very sincere. and down-to-earth! Rest in Peace man!

I find myself missing the man I was to blind to see when I met him one night in Cleveland many many years ago.. before anyone heard of INXS. He came across arrogant and I was as stubborn as he when neither wanted to move out of the others way.. I wasnt buyin the rock star crap.. but since then I loved the music admired his charming ways and realized he was just caught up in the beginning of his “rock star” life. He was a great man and not a single day passes without thoughts of him.. God Bless you Michael.. rest in peace
