Well, all the memories of that horrible day on November 22 1997, have come flooding back. Congratulations to Kell and family for a very impressive and moving website devoted to the amazing man Michael. Thank you too, I think this is a very appropriate tribute to him. All the best. xxoo

Its hard to believe its been a year that Paula joined Michael. May they be resting in peace and watching over their families.

I have been watching Michael Hutchence perform for a lot of years, and along with most women i know have melted at his tremendous charisma.

To lose a man with talent of that magnitude is a shock to music lovers. That said, I only knew the persona not the person.

But the loss of his relationship with his family and with Paula and mostly with tiger is the saddest part of this human tragedy.I hope Tiger is given the chance to know about her father and the family that raised him. It is so important.

Your website is elegant and dignified and glowing with love and affection for this immensley intelligent and handsome man.

The media and the press love having a go. They would'nt be interested in hearing positive things so some people believe everything they read and it makes me weep that Tiger and you all have to withstand this rubbish written by people who simply know nothing about the subject. Having watched a documentary on Paula Yates yesterday it is apparent that she and Michael were terrorised daily and were driven to despair.

I wish to express my sympathy to you all for the way in which a man who made a difference in this world was taken away much much too soon. The dignity he showed in life is obviously a trait that was instilled in him by his family. The main reason for this comment is my admiration for a family that showed it's unity and acted with immense love towards his daughter in the most difficult circumstances You have showed hummanity and the value of family life while being put constantly under the world's spotlight. My heart goes out to you all and I end this with my very best wishes for your futures

How quick a year passes...

With memories of Paula still as fresh and beautiful as ever, let's remember this wonderful lady a year on from her passing....

...and how lucky Michael is to have her in Heaven.

God Bless.

Came across Michael's website and wanted to let you know what alovely tribute it is to your son. I remember his death clearly, though I don't actually know his music, being 52 now and not one to listen to radio one. However, that doesn't mean that I don't feel for you, having lost your lovely son. God Bless you all.

Michael,

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I had a dream that you were standing across the room, in a huge crowd. I tried desperately to reach you, but you just smiled and said “It's okay, it's fine.” You waved at me and were gone. I miss you so much. God bless your family and friends and many fans. I know you're watching over us. I love you Hutch.

Hello,

It may not be a bad idea to have links from this site to suicide bereavement groups or associations. Just a thought.
Olivia, 15.09.2001

I just attended a national conference on suicide as part of my work. It is amazing to think of all the factors that come in to play when someone takes their own life.

One conference speaker -- whose son ended his life said that it was important to think of your loved one in happier times. It may seem like an obvious thing to say but I suppose we all have a tendency to obsess about what we could have done to stop a relative from becoming suicidal.

May Michael rest in peace. There is no blame or shame only sadness. Celebrate his life.

Michael still is strong in my memory and I know he always will be, I admired the way he always had a smile for people and never ever got to big to talk to anyone.I believe that he had a big heart and now he is making people smile in heaven. Thank you Michael for the wonderful music you left behind for us. And to Mr K Hutchence I hope your pain is eased slightly knowing that your boy touched so many hearts across the world....JN NY USA

my friend and i have been fans of inxs since around 1982. we've travelled far and wide to see inxs countless times and were lucky enough to see them (front row!) in boston 2 months before michael died. i've just now started to listen to their music again but not without many tears. for a long time i couldn't even think about listening to his voice. we both miss him greatly.

I have been an INXS fan since 1987, but have only just found this website, which I think is a wonderful tribute.

I still get very upset when I think of Michael, the man who adorned my bedroom walls for many years.

A very sad loss. I was also very upset about Paula.

My heart goes out to Tiger. An absolute tragedy that you have to grow up without your Mummy & Daddy. They loved you very much.
