I have done a lot of updating on my Michael site if you'd like to come and look. I've added a movies section and a video library in pictures. Just one more update to do with it and it'll be be finished.

It has taken me a long time to be able to express myself here...I weep like a child while I'm looking at photos and reading of everyone's sense of loss. I feel Tiger's most of all. I lost my father in the same way...on Christmas Eve, he too was many miles away, and I very young. So I pray for Tiger every day... I pray she never feels abandoned or alone...and that she knows her father loved her with his heart in his eyes...

I have just read Patricia & Tina's book, 'Just A Man', this sitte is so different. Make of that what you will!

Being from the Uk, I have a slightly different view on Paula Yates as others, but the 1 thing we all must agree on is she gave the world a beautiful little girl. i was lucky enough to see INXS not long before Michael's death, & they were trully superb. This is what I prefer to recall, & not all the other rubbish that has emerged since his death, off all involved.

I was always, and still am, a big fan of Michael and INXS. I was in Melbourne visiting my mum when I heard the news. I couldn't believe it. It just shocked me. I remember thinking “how on earth could such an icon just quietly exit the world?” I still think about it. Could anyone tell me where his grave is as I would like to visit it. Even though he is gone, his memory lives on. He was a passionate, warm, gentle and charismatic creature who touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. To Kell, Rhett and the band, I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Kell,

How is Tiger-Lilly? I hope she is doing well. I feel for the poor little thing. Can we have up dates on how she is going? Nothing to personal as I don't want to invade her privacy.

I hope your family is all well.

I'm thankful for Michael's soulful voice and lyrics--I really believe he was becoming his most mature and that it was not an intended suicide, no matter what the circumstances- Wish I could be the female “Hutch” and feel so for his family and friends--

Oh how we loved you ... those eyes, that stare, that voice, just you. The moment you left - the songs made my heart beat just that much faster.

Tiger has the eyes. RIP.

I've read all the books written about Michael since his death, and followed all the publicity through the paper's and magazines. It has been a very sad saga. I particularly felt very much for Kell and Patricia losing their son and the events that unfolded from Michael's death. I'm so glad that Kell was able to visit Tigerlily in London last year, and I'm sure she will grow up happy and well-adjusted as she is surrounded by so many people who love and care for her.

I wish all of Michael's family the best and thank you Kell for organising your friends to develop this memorial website on Michael.

Take care
Monique

I am not familiar with Michael Hutchence's music probably because of the generation gap - my adult sons are much more likely to be au fait with his work. I would just like to say that on holiday recently, I had the opportunity to read 'Just a Man'. It is a very appropriate title for a biography of a star who was a very special person and like all of us he had his human frailties. I can follow other people's admiration and respect for him by viewing the guestbook. His loss to the family was obviously overwhelming. The subsequent unsettling consequences compounded the distress to his closest family. We can all understand that. All I can add is to wish all the family in Australia and California, better times in the future.

I have just finished reading 'Just a Man'. Very cool story. I hope you have all sorted things out and Tiger's best interest has been thought of.

After Bono, Michael was my 2nd Rock Idol ever. I had the pleasure of spending around 20 minutes with him over a drink approximately 5 months before he passed away and found him to be open, very friendly, appreciative and willing to discuss almost anything...he was a brilliant man. Remember, he may be gone, but the words and music he wrote and created with INXS, MAX Q and of course the solo music recorded just before his passing will always be with us. My thoughts and best wishes go to his family and especially little Tiger....peace & love...Neil

I think this is a wonderful site and I am glad this has been put together by his family to honor a truly great man. I really don't know what to say to keep this short. I have been listening to INXS since I was in 8th grade (1988) and they have remained my all-time favorite band since. I remember hearing the news of the tradgedy on the radio a few years back, while I was at work. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family at this time.

To whoever reads this, I would just like for it to be known that I feel a great loss has been had by the passing of Michael. Of all the music in this world that I have heard and had compassion for, none has touched me or made me get to my feet and dance around like the music that INXS produced. I believe that certain special people are put on this earth for only a short time to accomplish a mission. I believe a great mission had been accomplished by Michael and his band. Their music and their love for the music shall shine on for as long as there are ears for it to touch. I know for myself that there is a very special place in my soul that this light will never be extinguished.

To Michael: Thank you for your compassion for music and for touching my soul the way no other band ever has or ever will. May you rest in peace.
