Dear Michael, Your time was brief but you made your dreams come true ! You conquered the world! You touched more lives than I'm sure you thought a person could ! Your missed by so many to this very day even after all these years ! And as you know love traansends time and spacce and lives forever . I still miss this beautiful man. His voice and presence. I will never forget him.

Listened to the best of INXS on a long trip today and never turned it off. Thought of the time I met you nearly 25 years ago and miss the sound of your music. You are one of the greatest artist ever. I love music and are deeply missed by those of us you touched .

8/21/1988 INXS at The Spectrum in Philadelphia. My first concert as a child that fast and furiously kicked off my love and passion for live music. I love INXS today as much as I did then and have been listening quite a bit as of late, which is what brought me to this page. I've spent time recently watching old interviews and concert footage. What a kind and genuine soul who left us too soon! Cheers to the incredible music he did leave us with. RIP and long live INXS.

It was nice to learn more about Michael.... He certainly affected me through the 80's influenced my music and helped me stay sane with some of his lyrics....

To this day, I still listen to INXS and watch music videos of the band online. The music is just as relevant to me now as it was so many years ago; Michael's hypnotic charisma is just as vivid and primal. That he is not with us anymore is the cruelest notion when he was life itself. Love, always.

Hey Michael, I've been writing a lot and thinking about you a lot, and I just wanted to drop another line to you here. I like to think maybe you feel it when we're thinking of you. I miss you a lot. Ever since my girlfriend first introduced me to you and your music. This afternoon, we watched a lot of INXS interviews, and I even wrote a poem about you and Jon, what kind of conversations you two might have now that you're in Heaven, and he's on Earth. It's so strange, we were barely here at the same time. I was a newborn, coming in, while you were going out. The most important thing I want to say is that we love you, and we're thinking of you, all the time. Thank you, for everything.

Just watched the last rock star over two nights. So very sad, you should have had more help and never been left alone on that fateful night. We will never know for sure what happened, only you know that. I really think my countryUK had a lot to do with it. The press here hounded you, you were treated so bad, I apologise.for this, they disgust me. Typical uk press. You weren't the first and not the last to be treated this way. You should have stayed in aus, you had respect there. I met you in 1993, got the photos to prove it, I even got a kiss of you wih my arms wrapped around you. I wish I was there on that fateful night. I would have tried to keep you safe. We would have talked until your pain eased, I would never have left you alone. I miss you so much it hurts, not one day goes past that I don't think of you. God knows how your family feels, I had you for only 15 seconds, so thankyou for that. You made a uk fan so happy. You were so ordinary, so down to earth. You wanted to talk and please your fans. I hope you are at peace. You will be missed forever, and forever I will listen to you. I wanted more, especially your solo music, you had such a gift only very few have, but it was snatched away from you. Poor Tina is always speaking up for you, you have such a lovely sister. I have spike to her twice about how similar our lifes are, my dad died when I was only 9 months old. I was kept away from my dads family, and why ill never know, I have since made contact and its the best thing ive ever done. I hope tiger does the same. My aunt and I are so close and I hope tiger and Tina will be too, after all.shes knows you the best. Sleep tight, I pray one day I will see you and hear you sing again in heaven until then I will listen to your fabulous words you put into music. Love you forever Mike. Karen x

Just watched The Last Rock Star last night. Cried the entire time. Your family, friends and the world miss you as well as I do. I am still to this day having trouble and heartbroken at the loss. I understand you and always have although far apart. I was the exact same way as you were in life. I just get it and got you . Your enigmatic presence will forever be missed. Hope they release a c.d. of the songs they found. SAVE MY LIFE.......

What a beautiful memorial site. Thank you! Words cannot express how Michael and INXSs music affected me growing up. Here in Utah I was early on the train with 'Listen Like Thieves' I knew how important they were. These songs and the stronger ones through the years cycle through my psyche like water in an eddie on the beach. Im grateful.
