Michael was the biggest influence on my life. I am still missing him but I suppose we just have to be grateful that he was here in the first place? Thank you Michael.

I am still feeling the sadness of Michael's passing.Even 5 years later. The music of Inxs music(and Hutch's lyrics, and vocal delivery)will not be forgotten. This band stood out,and constantly made incredibley moving music.Michael's voice, was like no one else.As time goes by I hope the music public discovers what a great(underrated) lyricist that Michael brought to the music of Inxs. Please buy 1992's welcome to wherever you are.One of the best cd's ever made, and one of the most FORGOTTEN pieces of music I've ever heard, including the 3,000 cd's that I own.I was lucky to see the band on September 14 in d.c,not knowing the tragedy that awaited.God bless ya Hutch. You are not forgotten.

i often come and read the beautiful memories people have because of michael but today i had to write and say thank you to the 'care takers'
of this wonderful site.

I read with horror at what someone had left as a message....the longer i thought about it the more upset i got
and i had a few things to get off my chest by the time i got back to do it the offensive message was gone..so thankyou to the 'carers'
you do an awesome job of keeping the site updated and beautiful
much love to the family
and friends of michael
with a special mention to Michaels 'minime' Tiger xxxx

I love to listen to Michaels solo album. every time i hear it, its like hearing it for the first time you cant get bored of it and then it ends with Slide away which i believe is the greatest song there is and it has two super stars in it with to perfect voices, every time you hear that song you cant decide if you want to cry just michael is gone or be happy cause its such a great song to hear, its so great that bono sang in that song for Mchael to finish it for him, i thank you Bono for that. i will always be your fan Michael no matter wat happens in the world.

Surfers and INXS sort of went together in the 80's. Michael and INXS were a part of every surf trip that me and my friends took as kids and college students. Now. I'm grown up and have kids of my own. Still go on surf trips to Mexico and Costa Rica, it's a little different now, but I always have “The Swing” with me. When Michael died, so did my youth, and my dreams of immortality. I realized then how real and cruel the world could be. However, when I listen to anyhting by INXS, especially the early works, it brings me back to a better time and better place. A place of carefree youth. Without a mortgage, car payment, real job,or heath concerns. Just a dude and his board. Surfing during the day, listening to KICK at night. RIP Mike, and thanks for the memories.

I grew up listening to INXS, and was deeply saddened to hear of Michaels untimely passing. I appreciate this site, and wish his family and friends well. It's an interesting thing, to feel close to someone you know only thru song, but I had such a crush on Michael. His music, and that of INXS touched and continues to touch so many. I am happy to see people are still checking in here, Michael is obviously still with us! ooo

This website is a wonderful, heartfelt and authentic dedication to a great and undervalued singer/songwriter. I hope more and more fans will check into the commentary by his close friends and family which stops to make you recognize the real human being behind the image and the reputation. Thank you.

Thankyou to everyone involved with this site. I really enjoy loging on every week or so and reading everyones thoughts and Messages.

I think I becamed obsessed with Michael Hutchence sometime last year when I read his biography written by Vincent Lovegrove. I truely, madly, deeply love his music and the man he was and feel very sad about him not being with us.

It is so lovely to read Nadia from Moscows's messages - Michaels greatest fan in the world (or maybe just Russia).

Also, thankyou to the pastor - what a great way to witness to the world (or maybe specifically to me - I need all the help I can get).

May God's love be in all your hearts.

Yesterday, late at night i saw the best show on earth - Live Baby Live from Wembley, the beginning of 90's..Poor CD - it was..maybe 20th time i enjoyed this concert.
Yes,the most beautiful, passionate sight I've ever seen - it's Michael's performance.I think, everybody here feel the same admiration when see Mike on stage.
I think, even people, who didn't know INXS(terrifying fact for me-many people in Russia didn't know them!)after seeing Live Baby Live will say something like: “Yes,it's incredible, really GREAT”
Miss him so much..
All my love&best wishes to the family, friends and fans of Michael.

I wanted to tell you how beautiful this site is. And as the mother of 2 boys, I'd like to express my gratitude for the beauty and talent that was Michael. I only wish and hope that when my sons grow up, they'll make a difference in every person's life they touch, like Michael did.
Thank you. God Bless You All.

I can see you put a lot of heart into this. No parent should have to outlive their child.
What a wonderful way to put Michael Hutchence's life and memory into perspective.
Tiger Lily, you precious child, may your path be easier than your parent's. I see your father very much alive in your sparkley eyes, and beautiful face.
May this *HUG* travel through cyberspace and surround you all with warmth and love. Blessed Be.

Just watched the “Behind the Music” episode of Michael. It still brought tears to my eyes after all these years. I saw INXS in the early 90s, 4th row center. He made you feel that you were the only one there watching.

INXS has been my favorite band since I was in seventh grade, back in 1986. Yes, I was a little late to join the bandwagon, if you will, but I have never heard a band who has been able to mesmorize me with album after album. Last summer, June 2002, I was fortunate enough to see INXS at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California, and I had my doubts about the band after Michael's passing. Even though it is not the same music and wonderful soul without Michael, the spirit of the band's music is still able to reach so many people. I love INXS for what is was, and what it is now. Please continue to tour around the world and allow people to share in your wonderful music. This band has been part of my being for as long as I have been able to form my own conscious.
