I am absolutely overwhelmed by this site. Thank you to those who created this site so that those of us who adored him from afar could have peace in our grief. I first discovered INXS when I was eleven years old and was immediately smitten with Micheal. In an unstable home enviornment I took solace in the beautiful distraction of their music. I was devastated on the day when I heard of his death as I woke up to DJs discussing it on my radio. I don't think I fully understood what he, though I never even saw him perform live, meant to me. I finally feel a sense of peace after spending hours soaking in the images and words on this site. Thank you.

I of course, was devestated when Michael passed. I think of Michael often, but this is the first time I've ever taken the time to look through this site entirely. It's beautiful, and it brings back all those feelings, good and bad, of Michael.
Looking at pictures of him makes me so sad...but then I REALLY look at them (esp. live pics) and the feelings turn to happiness and excitement of when I first saw INXS live! Nothing made me happier!

But all I or anyone can offer you is sweet prayers, which somehow I truly beleive that they are relayed to you in some special way by a power higher than imagineable.

I truely love this Memorial website. I miss Michael; as I know everyone else does. My heart goes out to his family and fans around the world. '97 was a sucky year for me; miscarried a baby; lost my dad 2 months later and then my favorite singer.

I wanted to add one other thought if I may. Depression is such a lethal thing if you avoid dealing with it in yourself or ignore the signs in others near to you. People just need the answer which is often discovered when they realize the preciouness of their personhood. Sometimes we realise our significance by being loved by others and by loving others in return. Sometimes it is a spritual realization that we are created precious and unique.

So great to hear how you all love this site. Kell loved this site too and would drop in almost everyday. Sometimes it would be too much for him, so he would ask me to email him the special messages. He would then drop them a line personally or have me do it on his behalf. Kell was so proud of this site and it was one of the few things that brought him joy after losing his son. It was one of his request to me on his death bed to make sure this site remained up.
It is the support of all you guys that keep coming back here and Mario and Jackie Ferrari for the generosity of their time and resources in maintaining this site that we remain indebt to. Susie and Rhett are also 100% behind this site and greatly appreciate all your love and well-wishes.
When I first approached Mario to help me put together a special site with Kell (it was to help Kell in his grieving), it was on the basis that I knew both Mario and Jackie loved and respected Michael. They have been such an inspiration and encouragement to Kell and Susie on their all too few trips to Sydney.
So thanks Mario and Jackie again and again for helping me help Kell and all of Michael's fans.
In the time after Michael's death I got to hear so much more about him through his Dad but also his friends and fans. These message pages became an important chronical of Michael's movements throughout the world as literally thousands of people re-told their story of meeting him. Funny, in all the years since this Guestbook has been open, Mario and I can honestly say we cannot recall one message that every was negative about Michael. Nowhere have I read that he was an arrogant, heartless, cold person who couldn't sing or write. He may have often lived life on the wild side, but even that side of him Michael knew was blown out of all proportions by the press. A real test of a man's heart is to see the esteem he is still held in by his former friends or partners. People such as Bono, Kylie, Michele, Geg Perano, Helena, Martha Troup, Andy Gill, Jimmy Barnes, Richard Lowenstein, and so the list goes on, all to this day remember and honour Michael with the fondest, warmest of memories. Such sentiment in the rock and roll world is very, very rare.
God bless you all Michael and INXS fans and I hope you are living this precious day in hope, love and peace wherever you are in this world.

PS: You may have noticed last week Rhett dropped by to ask Mario for a copy of all your messages for Tiger...did you know the Australian National Library in our capital, Canberra, discovered this site and recognized it as a “significant national treasure”. They requested permission to archive the entire site into their library for perpetual preservation.
So even your messages, as heartfelt as they are, will be preserved and go down in the pages of Australian cultural history! Pretty cool uh?

To Mr Hutchence and all those associated with this memorial to Michael i just want to congratulate you on a wonderful site. I happened to come across it from the inxs site. I am an inxs fan from the 80s, and i was lucky enough to have met Michael a few times during the 80s. I have fond memories of those times, and i cherish my albums that were signed, unfortunately i didnt get a photo with michael as he always was being rushed off somewhere, but im thankful i met him. He will live on forever in his music and i thank him for that also.

I think that Michael had such incredible stage presence that's unsurpassed! An extremely gorgeous person with that perfect voice. Too many adjectives? There's just not enough to describe him. I love his voice to this day. May you always rest in peace knowing the influence you had on the world. As you would say, Love and Peace.

The very first time I came on this site and left a message I could barely see the letters on the key board while writing my message. It was smth. so powerful, so special that words cannot even be found to describe the feeling. I tried to stay aside for a while as it was too painful. But something(beside my love for Michael)kept on calling me back here and now I know for sure what it is. All these messages I read here, all the friends I can say I found in such a special place determines me to come here almost every day! Hi! I just spent 3 hours reading this page... it's really great. I was a big fan of INXS when I was 16, still love the music and I was so happy to see them in Geneva at a concert. All the best to the whole family and especially to Michal's little girl - your Daddy was wonderful!

I think the most beautiful thing about our friendships is that they were made through Michael, and we are all from different parts of the world. They say when the singer of a band dies,it's the worst feeling in the world to there fans,cause when that happens nomore can you hear that persons voice,see there eyes shine in the lights,read there opions in there lyrics there thoughts are once again a mystery.
Michael is once again a mystery to me,and i'll always miss him and no matter how many years go by I will always remember his eyes shining in the lights.

Today is June 19, 2003 and not a day goes by that I think and pray always about Michael. I miss him. I signed this guest book a couple of years ago and I always come back to Michaels' Memorial website to think, pray, dream and share my thoughts of Michael. I wish he were here. I had one dream in the 1980's and that was someday that I would somehow get to meet Michael. I still have that dream. I always pray to Michael in my prayers. One early morning dream about one year ago, I had a dream that I met him. He was smiling and I could not figure out what to say to him. As he stood there before me with such a gentle smile, I seemed to be mezmerized by him and I just could not speak. He looked at me and held my hand and said “it's alright, don't worry about me, I'm o.k. still smiling and with that I felt a sense of relief. I remember smiling back and then he was gone. I guess the relief was that I did finally got to meet Michael and he was alright. He was with God and had not forgot about my dream of so many years of wanting to see him in person and if that meant in my dreams that I was o.k. with that. I love Michael like I love my own brother who also shares the same name. I would also like to add that I have a book on Birthdays that lists just about everything you like and dislike, favorite colors and foods,and who is your guardian angel. I was born on July 24, 1965 and it reads that my guardian angel is Michael. If any of this is a coincidence then so be it. I know in my heart,soul, and my mind and he will always be with me and someday I will have that second chance when I shall dance to the soft spoken words of Michael greeting me at that golden gate right besides the Lord. Thank you for giving this earth Michael Hutchence. Until we meet again......
