Michael Hutchence was the coolest man around when I was growing up. His voice, character and presence are etched in the memories of my late teens and early twenties. For this Michael I thank you.
The day you died I realised that memories deserve detail, colour and music. A sunny day at Wembley Staduim or a dark, rainy night at the Barras in Glasgow. The music and the memories will live with me forever.
And besides, you were the only person who got me to buy biker boots, velvet jeans and grow my hair long.

I loved this man's spirit and his mark on life, was life. His music made everyone so happy. In life I could' nt wait to see his next performance.

What can I say, he was, he is the greatest entertainer I have ever seen. Michael was a wonderful person. I would also like to thank Tina Hutchence and Michael's Mother Particia for writing a beautiful book that explains and proves to be the real story. God bless you both... Michael and his music will always be in my heart.

I just want to express my deep feelings for michael and remember how beautiful he was...
I decided to watch some of my old 80's videos last night and I came acoss two Inxs videos, I hadn't seen in some time. Watching it brought back so many memories of my youth. Inxs was part of my youth and Michael Hutchence was part of my youth. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. Thanks for all the great music and the great memories.

I spent last night watching an old video that had tons of INXS interviews and such on it. It's been 7 years and everytime I hear his voice it tears out my heart. I can only hope that all the love and prayers that have poured out here can somehow reach Michael's family.

Michael was a really cool guy with the best songs. I always feel so sad when I see something about his death on TV. I'm only 16 and have just discovered him but I love him just as much as any fan. Michael, I love you Precious Heart always.

Love and peace to all those who love Hutch. I think about him at least once everyday. Something always reminds me of him. (either a song, or the name Michael, a phrase that can be related back to a lyric he penned....something).
There is a void in this world due to his loss. Anyone who knows Darren from Scotland....let him know someone in the States thinks of him often as well. Good friends should be reminded regularly that there life does matter. Life is cruel, and many times we can't see inside another person's heart....so build them up today....love them and encourage them.
“Encourage” means to “put courage back into”. Maybe Michael needed courage put back into him on that last day, and there was no one to do so in that lonely room. So if someone is precious to you.....remind them of that today. Love and peace.
