Michael Hutchence was one of the greatest rock frontmen ever. He will be greatly missed by all.
It feels as though he's near when I listen to him sing. Pop the cd in and my mood changes to good instantly. INXS still rules!
I think Michael carried himself well on stage and off. Especially on stage. The charisma shined through always like he was part animal part man. If he was a toy he'd be like a slinky!

I enjoyed visting the memorial site today and will continue to visit it in the future. Inxs is one of the best bands that will always be in my heart. I was so happy to be the same age as Micheal and the guys when the band hit it big in the early 80's. What can I say about Inxs is that they were and still very good-looking guys with so much talent. I don't watch MTV anymore cause they don't show no more videos of INXS so I've banned MTV. God blessed all of us girls in the 80's with these adorable INXS guys and it still hurts that the cutest one is not with us anymore but will always be in our hearts. Every day I watch INXS videos on the Launch Yahoo site and it makes my day.

I met Michael in 1981 for an interview with the band one Saturday afternoon. I was really very nervous about it as they had just had some success with a single in France and had put out their first LP.
I was so nervous I asked our advertising manager to come with me and do it together I think...
Michael was on the roof of Her Majesty's Theatre
here in Melbourne.
It was a grey day at that time and Michael was stretching toward the sky when he turned and saw us and his eyes were very soft and focussed and kind.
We spent that afternoon with the band there watching them eat and whatever and interviewing them all.
Michael was playfully grabbing for the list of questions and being very cheeky and funny,
He had a way of making you feel just perfect the way you are.
Lots else happened but no time to write more...I dreamt of him last night for the first time and he was again very kind and supportive.
I know you are still alive Michael in heaven somewhere and looking in on your old earth acquantances from time to time. I was really lonely in this dream and there you were saying everything is going to be fine.
I never got a chance to say I miss you too. I am crying about your passing for the first time and what you meant to me here in a new country looking for fun and happiness when I was young too.

You touched our lives in so many ways and there isn't a moment when i stop thinking how you came into mine!! I tried not to listen to the music too often for fear of losing interest in those all too familiar tunes however in doing so I've found that it's just not possible. After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder and there will be no more Michael. What is possible however, is to appreciate the perpetual goodness provided by INXS with the irreplaceable Hutch in the forefront. Those days of course are now gone . This is something I cannot struggle with, nor do I wish to because the memories will never fade so the appreciation of Michael only grows stronger. Michael, you've undoubtedly influenced so many lives ...one of which was mine so I thank you for the good times and the lasting memories. The large void left in your absence is irreplaceable and you are sadly and mournfully missed with the deepest of regret...

I feel Michael Hutchence is worthy of the Autralian Hall of fame status, which is why i have choosen to do my english assignment on him so that I and my fellow class mates can get to know him on a deeper level.
