i'm so grateful for the influence michaels lyrics had on my friends and i. when i was a young guy getting out in the world, figuring things out, spending lots of social time out at clubs after long workweeks. the universality in michaels lyrics were very healthy for a young guy going out to dicover the cosmopolitan world.
as a blossoming musician it is very clear to me the influence michael and his friends in inxs had on us. we were inspired by several groups, and inxs had a prominent place within that pantheon.
I don't want to think about what it all would be like without inxs. my most heartfelt thanks to you there for any influence you had on that.
we all share the sadness in michael's passing, but even more joy for his existence.

I recall how your beauty shone through and I told you what a beautiful person, a beautiful soul you are. I grew up with you and your band. I was mesmerised as a young teenager by the lyrics, the way the music transported me and had such a magic about it. I will never forget you. Your memorial site is absolutely beautiful, it must of been so hard for you to do something so wonderful for such a beautiful spirit. I have grown up with INXS ( Michael) I will have a lifetime of memories and great ones at that. But his memory will live on in my life and in my childrens lives for ever more. Thankyou for sharing your son with the world, it has been a great experience.

What a beautiful memorial website this is. I just happened to be browsing online to find some music videos when I came across all these INXS videos at Launch.com It was so fun watching these videos that were part of such a good time in my life and a happy time! I started to cry and then i remembered that Michael had passed away and I never did really know the details...I didnt even have a PC in 1997. So this led me to do a search on google.com and then I found this beautiful memorial website. All I can say is how very sad I am and also how very happy as well knowing that I was lucky enough to be the age I was at the height of Michael Hutchence career and INXS. The songs will always be with me and the happy times of the 80's and 90's.
