I have loved Michael for so long. I remember the day he passed and hearing it on the news while I was on vacation with my mother. My world was shattered. I still can't believe he is gone. I have recently been listening to more INXS and reading Tina's book. It was so hard to hear his voice for a while without feeling so terribly sad. But, now I listen and enjoy Michael to make my day complete. I'm glad my husband understands, because that's the way it is!! Thank you for this website. I certainly cannot imagine how much his family must miss him and that beautiful smile of his.
I’ve been listening to INXS since I went to a few concerts when in college and I loved everything about INXS and Mr. Hutchence. I connected with all of the songs and their music was on another level with me. I was devastated when I heard the news not only for his many fans but how much he touched his family.
I find myself still listening to their songs and wishing things were different. I will never forget how his concerts made me just forget what was going on in this world. We will never forget you Michael!

During this time, May 2020, there are many things one can not understand in the world, such the new virus, the forest devastation in Australia and on my home country Brazil, politics... reading about Michael, I feel he would be one of the ones to cheers all of us up.
Love his music, his style, and just recently noted how my life was affected by his lyrics- especially during a difficult age of 16 to 19. At the time, I was learning English and my personal goal was to master “by my side”.

Even though I was born in the New millenium, I got in touch with Michael's music, and I'm greatful for that. It warms my heart, and makes me feel good, especially during this troubled moment, where music is a salvation. I hope Michael is in a peaceful place, I image him dancing and singing such as he could do so well. I send all my love to his family and to all the members of Inxs.
Aun recuerdo cuando en mi adolescencia, vi por primera vez en MTV uno de los videos de INXS, Need you tonight, aunque en ese entonces no entendia ni una palabra de lo que hablaban, su ritmo me seducia, deseaba ser grande para tener mi propio dinero e irme a sus conciertos. Escuchar su música me transporta a una etapa muy linda de mi vida, aun escucho la música de la banda, y aun me inspiran, me emocionan, me relajan. Michael gracias por darme tanto en cada canción. Es una gran perdida que aun se siente entre todos sus fans.

Michael your band are my favorite people of all time. INXS is my favorite band of all time I love you all and I miss you dearly. When I was younger I would go in the car and hear the radio and hear INXS but I always thought it was some random band. Then, like 2 years ago my mom got me into INXS and Michael. I saw the Mystify Documentary and I felt like I had gone into Michael's world and known him. I miss you Michael. And I'm also 14 so yeah. All the other music out there is okay but nothing can beat INXS. INXS and Michael Hutchence have a special place in my heart. Thank you for making my music world so much better. You will never be forgotten.
I still wonder why
There's no way I could ever put into words, how much Michael & INXS mean to me. I grew up listening to their music. The band formed in 1977, the same year I was born! That's just one of the many reasons I've always felt a special bond with Michael. He touched my soul without me ever meeting him, or ever being able to see him perform in person. It breaks my heart that neither can ever happen, but I choose to remember Hutch in a beautiful, happy way. His voice, his lyrics, the beautiful man that he was! He will always have a special place in my heart, FOREVER.

INXS, thanks for the great memories during my youth, had the pleasure of seeing their Calling All Nations Tour for Kick in 1988.
I unfortunately wasn’t alive to have ever been able to see Michael or an INXS concert, but the impact that Michael’s life has had on me is still huge. Ever since I first started getting into Michael’s music my life has never been the same. Whether that be listening to Kick or watching Live at Wembley 1991 for the first time, you have inspired me in so many ways. Michael, thank you so much for everything you did to inspire so many people, myself included. You will never be forgotten❤️

I am enjoying his music today as I have for many years. INXS was very popular when I was in high school. I always thought their music was really great. I often think about him and what a sad thing it is that he left this world too soon. When I feel sad about that, I remember that we are all lucky to have the gift of him for the time we did. Lots of love to his family.
Michael was a spectacular singer/performer. The head injury he suffered, I believe, caused insurmountable problems for him. He is one of the most beautiful publicly known people in the world.

Since the first time I've listened to INXS with Michael's perfect voice, I decided to be a singer. It is a great inspiration for me even though I was born at 1982, and I am pretty sure there will be no one alike him. Big hug from Brazil.
I saw Michael and INXS in Minnesota during their What You Need tour. As a music loving teenager in the 80s, I loved pop music and had been to many concerts: Thompson Twins, OMD, Prince, Duran Duran, etc ... but my all time favorite concert was the one and only time I saw Michael and INXS. To say they were amazing would be an understatement. They were out of this world great! Brilliant, astounding, the best live band ever - the most amazing performers EVER to me. To this day that performance is my all time favorite concert I've ever been too. I don't remember much of the details now, I just know how it made me feel... at one with the music, at one with everyone in the audience, and at one with Michael and INXS. Michael took us all on a ride with him that night, and it was exhilarating! He was so sexy, such a good singer and a phenomenal performer. He was a magic man. There was only one Michael Hutchence. No one like him, then or now. I hope his family knows that his music will live on. His spirits lives in his music. Anyone who listens to his music will know what a great man he was... as long as we have his music, we have him. Michael Hutchence will always be with us if we listen to his music. Thank God for the music & for Michael!
