Michael truly had the best voice in rock and roll. There will never be anyone who can take his place.

Michael had such an amazing voice!
I didn't get the chance to see INXS in concert, but I loved his performances on MTV and the way he sang. I was shocked and saddened when he passed away. He will live on forever through his music. My deepest condolences to everyone who knew and loved him.

Ive been hooked on “The Swing”, lately and the one song i play over and over if “love is, What i say,” Michaels voice is beautiful and it has that sorta echo sound to it and he sounded really in love when that song came out. The words are so awsome it gives me the chills. Its nice to go back to his young starting out days and hear the talent in his voice that became soo big. I think even then the band was great and soo unique! Memory lingering missing more every day!!

I was in a band in Perth,W.A. in the 70's.
One night my band was called in to do a 'fill-in' gig,at the Broadway Tavern(I think)to replace the Farris Bros.,due to one of the band being ill,I remember being told.......
The next day, saturday morning in the Hay St. Mall,I saw the Farris' singer........I'd seen the Farris' before, and I'd seen their singer...I tried EVERYTHING to get him to join my band........lol.....no way..........even way back then, you could see these guys were going to make it to the top,no matter what........We were never great mates,I think he didn't like me trying to “nick” him........lol......it was sooooooooooo good to see the boys go on to be the world's best........sorry I haven't left a message before,I never found the words....I always remember Hutch being loyal to his band, even when times were tough........a true pro........Peace.....D.

Michael will never be forgotten. He had a unique and unforgetable voice that reached into your soul with every song he sang. Saw INXS in Toronto, Canada in the 80's, outstanding concert. Still continue to play all albums, & cd's which you could never get tired of because you continually live in our hearts forever.
God bless, Katherine

I remember my 1st break-up. I sat around listening to “Never Tear Us Apart” until my mother broke the tape because she was tired of hearing it. My heart broke in much the same way when Michael died. I'm sure others of you felt the same way. This was the music I grew up with. So now I sit hear and still listen to it only now on CD. We love you Michael.

8 years mate, almost 8 years.

I still sing your songs at the shower, driving my car... I will never forget the day I met KICK at Dublin's Grafton Street.

10 years marked with your music and all that soul you had... you still have.

Then... well, that day, when you left us.

From then on 8 years elegantly wasted.

Take care, wherever you are.

I was and continue to be such a huge fan of Michael Hutchence. I was so in love with him and his velvety voice. I mean, c'mon, does it get any hotter than Michael in his heyday?

I also believe the rumors about his death are false. The fact is that Michael commited suicide becuase he was stuggling with drugs, depression and an unheathy, relationship. People should know the truth because his memory is tainted by that false rumor.

I actually met Michael a couple of times. It is a lomg story but I will just say that Michael was so warm, kind and down-to-earth. We hung out for hours, drank, talked and sang songs. He didn't make me feel like he was better than me, didn't act superior and aloof like most celebrities do. On the contrary, I felt like he saw and appreciated me as a unique and beautiful person. Sounds cheesy but he had that effect on people. He was just very receptive and cool.

There are some great singers on the new show and I'm so excited that the band will be making a new album. However no one will ever replace Michael. Love and peace, Courtney

In the past few months I have rediscovered and discovered Michael, namely his Solo work. Although I love and value his INXS songs, his Solo Album has touched me the most, especially the slower, soulful songs which bring tears to my eyes. I sincerely hope that his fans have listened to this music as well, as I believe it shows the true Michael, a beautiful, sensitive, caring, loving soul, so incredibly blessed. Michael, you will never be forgotten or replaced. You'll remain in my heart forever.

With Much Love and Appreciation,
Debbi

I was only 7 when Michael past away but it was only last year since i started listening to him. He is a frontman and and a great performer and he's my number one favourite singer. I sadly miss him and if he was still here i would enjoy going to his concerts and performances. None of these new singers would stand a chance against him.
