Watched the Mystify documentary a week ago and have been thinking about Michael ever since. Such a beautiful soul taken too soon. I enjoyed learning about his life and could see the beauty of the person and artist that he was. Thank you for sharing his life with his fans and may he rest in eternal peace.
What a coincidence. We lived in Kowloon tong from 1970 to 1972. I was born in 1967 alongside my twin sister and older sister who was 4 years older. She was a very strong swimmer and trained at the RAF pool at Kai Tak. We went to st Andrew’s primary at the end of the road where the MTR station is now. Probably crossed paths at some stage!
Having just watched Mystify I have a greater understanding of what you endured in those years after your accident. I am an avid fan. I am sorry for the pain caused by those who loved you and those who didn’t understand. I too am one of those people. We just didn’t understand the pain. You are missed more that just for the music you created, your music will always be a continued source of enjoyment for us. It like you are timeless

I have always loved Michael and INXS music. Michael became an idol of my generation in early 90s. He was very talented and good-looking. I still keep the old video tape with INXS video clips I recorded when they were played on MTV. I only hope that Tiger Lilly will finally re-connect with her Dad's family one day. Miss you, Michael.

Saw Michael and INXS for the first time in 1992 and thought no one could compare!!! Miss him so much. Hope he's in a good place now.

What a wonderful tribute to Michael! I just watched Mystify last night and it's clear that we lost a great talent and a lovely human when he died. INXS, and especially Michael, meant so much to me as teenager, and continues to be meaningful to me today. I deeply wish I could've seen him perform live. Love to all who knew him and continue to mourn his passing.

Periodically I find myself always finding my way to back to INXS music and ultimately the amazing talents of Michael Hutchence, Hutch commanded the stage and was so magnetic. His vocals and melodies so strong and his presence in this world is still missed. One of the greatest front men of all time undoubtedly, His life and art truly mattered. ☮️

Every time I play any of the INXS Kick album songs during my radio show on Saturday nights, I see Michael in those leather pants, microphone held tight, singing to the audience like they're in his lounge room. And we were. He let us into his life, his mind, his imagination, and his presence. I always play 'Don't Change' in my last set of 4 songs every Saturday night. 5KIxFM90.7.
But we cannot be sad that Michael is gone - we have to be happy that we got to live when he did.

I listen to his music almost daily, I watch documentaries, interviews ... I love his music and I am passionate about thinking that he was a sincere, incredibly maravillous, sensual and real man, who was always in search of happiness (I see it that way). I am also deeply saddened that the world is so cruel and that it manages to destroy people as sensitive as Michael. Thank you for having existed.

Playing INXS in the car my son says who's the singer? I say who he had the same reaction as I did at when I first heard his voice, now he's discovering the music the videos. I loved Michael the man the music the fashion, but beyond the Rockstar what came through most as I got older a real human not just an image. The song "Not Enough Time" is a fitting line for Michael,

I can’t believe it’s been 24 years since you left us. My heart aches the same as it did so many years ago. There have been so many questions about your death over the years. So many people just couldn’t believe what had happened. I feel like I was there with you; I know how you were feeling in those final moments and it hurts so bad that no one was able to save you from yourself during those desperate last hours. I feel your presence and receive signs that you’re spirit is still here. I will hold your beautiful spirit close to my heart forever. Love you.

I've been reading so much about Michael's life and work and am touched by him as a person and artist. His musical lives on in millions of people. Today in Scotland, the sun was shining and I went for a walk listening to INXS with a bounce in my step. I really feel sad for how soon Michael had to leave the planet but his presence still feels palpable. It's incredible how deeply you can feel for someone you've never met. Thanks for all you gave us, Michael. Shine on you crazy diamond. (I know, Pink Floyd but that lyric feels right) x
