I just wanted to say Thank you for being a part of my life. Through your words, you changed not only my life but many lives..change one life and you change another. You will always be remembered. I will keep you in my heart like a treasure. Love you Michael, always and forever.

Michael
You are an incredible artist, performer and human being. I fell in love with your music when I was 15years old....I saw you in concert, and was lucky enough to touch you from the front row. Something I will never forget. Now, 17 years later, I still enjoy your music, and heartfully wish your were still here making it. You will never be forgotten and are truely missed. Rest in Peace Michael- Much love-Ali

I was in high school when I was intrigued by INXS and namely Micheal. There was something about the music and style overall that was so different from many of the groups at that time. I went and saw their concert and I will never forget my girlfriend and I screaming over Micheal in his leather pants. I don't feel there has been a male singer with his appeal since. Her reminded me so much onstage of the late Jim Morrison. My daughter was born on November 22, 1997 and I remember being in the hospital listening to the news of Micheals death as I was about to give birth. It was such a surreal moment and one I will never forget. Something horribe was happening at the same time the most wonderful moment as well. I just bought the greates hits cd and the song bittersweet came on. It made me think of this experience and I wanted to share it.

Celebrities come and go, but I've never actually missed anyone the way I have missed Michael. Right now I have the song 'Don't Change'in my head and I can't help but feel such sadness for his family and their loss. Of course, I never met him, but he always seemed like a genuinely good person, a consummate professional, and a beautiful performer. Some days (like today), for no reason whatever, he pops into my mind and I wanted his family to know that ten years later, he is not forgotten. His memory is still cherished by total strangers who as little girls grew up listening to his music and watching him perform. Now, my two year old daughter is learning the words to his songs. It sounds silly, but I hope he knows that. I send love and best wishes to his family and it makes me glad to know that he and his father are reunited.

The tears i shed for you, are tears of joy yet desperation of an unknown. Your music brings me alive. Let love come to you and those you loved. Never forget You. Always in my heart, mind and soul. xx evie R.I.P. Michael

Dearest Michael, family and friends,

You have been such an important part of so many lives, it amazes me to think of all that you have touched and who love you still.

I cherish the music, the videos, the stories of a bigger than life man who I truly feel was as beautiful inside as he was on the outside.

I hope and pray time has helped heal wounds that once seemed impossible to overcome, but I so hope now, looking back, your loving family can smile and laugh and embrace your memory.

Thank you for sharing your son, brother, uncle, father with this world. We are eternally grateful and are much better because of him.

Much love,
Pam

Today June 11, 2006 I decided to take out my old tape of Michael and INXS playing Wembley. I hadn't viewed it in awhile-probably since before his passing. I suppose I just needed to go back to that place years ago when my daughter and I had seen him in concert here in Boston Massachusetts. We, through I friend in media, had given us the wonderful opportunity to meet him-we'll never forget the excitement of that very special time...
Anyway, watching the video brought it all back-experiencing many different emotions...I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this very special site where I can come to pay my respects and once again see Michael.
We will never forget...
God Bless

The other night I was watching VH1 music ch. There was a INXS show on some clips of videos and concerts. The band was talking and explaining them. It just hit me hard when I saw Michael singing. All the feelings of that untimely death came flooding back it was so sad yet we all have to remember all the love and smiles he brought to our hearts, on different levels but still he made us all smile and love alittle better...!Thank you Michael you ARE that shineing star up in the night sky! Watching over all that loved you. You are that rainbow that brings a smile to a little childs face after a rain storm. You are the warm sun that blankets us all...We love allways and forever!

Micheal, your music is always a part of my life. Each and every day it keeps you alive. You're a part of lifes great mystery and the mystery to why yours was taken is saddening. However, I can't let myself feel sorry for myself, you or your loved ones. You wouldn't want that. You were full of life, love, passion, brilliance and beauty. Also, a very caring and giving man. That is how your life was lived. An inspiration to others, a gift. It is in these ways you will always be alive.

Still thinking of you, Michael. I am so grateful to you and INXS for the great music I can listen to over and over and over again. I am known at work as the “INXS girl” because I bring my cds to work and listen to them in my office. Every lucky person who comes in gets to hear too! I am happy the boys get to bring more music to us fans. I know they must miss Michael so much and are moving forward to help them - I also think this is what Michael would want. Michael did not strike me as a selfish kind of guy... I send kisses and hugs to all the guys in INXS and also to Rhett and Tina. I pray that someday they all sit and talk things out. Life is too short to live in anger and love is the answer. Rhett, I will read your book ASAP as I finally got one! You strike me as being very strong and I admire that. Keep up the great work! Ian, thank you! I am so grateful to be able to express my feelings. I know this is long and I won't be sad if it is not posted, but I hope those involved get to know how I feel. I love you all!

Peace,
Laurie

Every year on the anniversary of his tragic death, I find myself in deep thought about what the world was robbed of. But I think people like Michael are only meant to be here for a short time, Like a JAmes Dean, or Elvis Presley. A man who leaves a legacy, and has touched so many people. The true testament to that is written by everyone on this website. What a gift the world was given, fortunately we all still and forever will be thankful for it!!

I loved the energy of INXS from when they first hit the US airwaves. The memory I want to share follows: I moved to Florida in 1987, when “KICK” was big on the radio. I was having a friend install a big sound system in my little car, and I bet him that the first song we would hear, when the system was turned on, would be “Devil Inside.” AND LO AND BEHOLD, it was. What a fantastic wall-of-sound song to KICK off my new system.
This is my first visit to this website, and I am sorry to learn that Michael's dad is no longer alive to know that people still remember his talented son, and the music lives on.
My belated sympathy to his family, including his daughter, from whom he was torn too soon. They are at least lucky to have his music, his images, to keep him alive in their hearts. As are we all. May he rest in peace on earth even as he stars as a frontman for some great band above.
