I still listen to your music especially in the car & I still watch all the documentaries about your life although I never ever watch the endings. Your music, like you, will never grow old
I attended my first INXS concert in 1988 and it changed my life. The music, the energy, and of course Michael. I still can’t explain in words how his performance changed the way I view the world. It was a sensory overload! Even today, when I listen to INXS, I still get the same feeling when I hear Michael’s voice. Pure brilliance. Pure talent. There will never be anyone that compares. Rest In Peace.
Fico me fazendo tantas peguntas.
R.I.P 💖😪😪

Michael was music to me!! I loved and treasured everything about him. His vulnerability, his charm, his sensitivity, his curly hair and his voice! I had the honor of winning front rows tickets to their concert in Syracuse NY in 90 and then again 3 more times over the years! I was truly devastated when I learned of his death, I missed out on seeing him that September in DC. You will always be a part of my life and I'm glad to be able to say! Rest in peace❤❤ Thank you MTV for the most wonderful gift ever!!
I can remember the first time I saw an INXS video on MTV. I fell instantly in-love, as much as that means to a twelve year old, with Michael. I was obsessed.
Flash foreword to 1997. By then I was twenty six. When I learned of Michael's death, it felt like the entire world stopped. I was in shock, then fell into deep sadness.
I will be 50 next month. I dont know why, but I have been so sad for the past 2 or 3 weeks...even shedding a tear as I write this. My sadness is in the loss of the entire world, in not experiencing the many hours of happiness INXS, specifically Michael, gave us. His smile, his eyes, his laughter, yes that sweet lisp you mentioned Ms Tina..his words, talent...the list is endless.
But what hurts my heart even more deeply, is the fact that his beautiful daughter was robbed (literally) of everything left of her father, his memory, his work, and even his personal belongings. It shatters my heart to know she didn't get to hold his leather jackets, smell him on his t-shirts, wear his jewelry. It is such an incredibly tragic story. I wish something could be done.
I pray for Michael, Tiger, you Tina, I pray his parents are with him again, and I pray for Rhett. I pray Michele and Helena know how much he loved them.
I have so many "ifs" as I'm sure many people who loved him does.
I hope and pray, (if there is a Heaven) we will all unite as friends and family. But as silly as this sounds, that I will FINALLY get to meet Michael. After nearly 40 years of being a faithful fan, I will give him a bone crushing hug!
I am in the process of collecting INXS items, so I can share it all with my ten-year old daughter. I want to make a time capsul, and include INXS. I have adored INXS since 1982, and will love Michael forever. Twenty four years later, it is still so raw, and regrettable. Please don't stop sharing with us. Please consider a 30th memorial if not up to a 25th. He brought such happiness to so many people, may his memory be eternal!!
With love,
Mary

Just saw the doc "Mystify" on Amazon Prime. Brought back a lot of memories of how GOOD music used to be - and for me INXS was a big part of that time period. Rock n' roll, danceable, new wave, R&B, punk- what a fusion of sounds it was! And the frontman: they don't make 'em like that anymore.
I saw them in 1987, one of my first concerts and it was one the BEST concert performances I've seen.
What a loss to the music world and of course his family, friends and fans.
May Michael's Memory Be Eternal.

Such a talented artist he left this world a better place because of his music , RIP such a beautiful man inside and out x
Inxs and Michael were the back drop to my teenage life, their music and Michael was such an inspiration to my life.
I like many other fans are still mourning the loss of such a gifted, intelligent, fun, caring, charismatic man. I often wonder what he would be doing with his music now, if he was still with us.
I would like to share my gratitude with all of Michael’s family, for the great happiness and joy he brought and still brings to my life and millions of others through his amazing music.
We are all truly blessed to have experienced his presence in our lives and will continue to throughout our lives through his music.
God bless you Michael, forever in our hearts. x x

First time I heard that voice. INXS exploded in America with "Listen like Thieves. And Kiss the Dirt. I took that tape to a party and everyone said, I really like these guys! In '91 I grabbed X at the record store to buy their cassette and get to the airport and catch my plane from Minneapolis to San Diego CA. I get in my first class seat behind the pilots and put the cassette in the walk-man. It had been a long time (10) years since I flew and I was nervous . "Disappear" started playing upon taxing the runway. I was ascending and hearing their new song and every time I fly I have to listen to "Disappear" and on my return flight taking off from CA at night there was a huge full moon. It was absolutely huge and it made the most beautiful flight I've ever been on. All the while flipping the tape and listening to INXS. I wont fly without that particular X CD. Every time I hear "Disappear" I can feel my stomach being pulled strongly forward and up into lift off. I'll never forget the joy INXS's music has given me. Thank you Michael for being here while I was here and INXS you really made people happy. I did get to see them in concert once. great show!
I send a message to heaven: Everything Michael used to sing, and still sings, because what you left was recorded, alone and with INXS, and will never be forgotten... I wish I had been with you in this life, I met you, your family, friends...the longing will stay, like sweet memories that will be the certainty that it is not the end yet, but just a change of plans...your light, your voice, your words are so intense, that they will still go reverberate, for many, many years, in hearts....and future generations...because you have become a legend...I pray for you every day, since you found me...sending my most sincere feelings of love and peace to your family....and friends....may God bless you...
We all get older from year to year .... As I get older, I ask myself if I did everything I wanted and what I could. I started to analyze Michael's work and I think he left an indelible mark. Music INXS and Michael's interpretation of the music remained unrepeatable. English is my second language and I am afraid I cannot express my admiration for INXS and Michael. We think of you Michael ....
One man who touched my heart in so many ways through his music. May there be no tomorrows, just forevers!
I am just a person Michael has touched through his music and obvious appeal. I was hooked watching a video of INXS playing at Wembley stadium followed by the documentary Mystify.
I have since read INXS's book about their journey from meeting at school to full on stardom. I love that book, it has so many of the bands fun memories, especially like Michael's name Fabian Sparkle to sign into hotels.
I read the memorial set up by Michaels dad and one entry went on about Susie Quattro and a silly dance her band did and Michael and friends copied it for a laugh. Before I read that memorial, I actually had seen Susie Quattro and co on Top of the Pops doing that dance routine and equally found it hilarious. The keyboard player stopped what he was doing to join in with the drummer and Susie Quattro on the dance floor. They should have stayed at their instruments let me tell you, but then we wouldn't have had so much fun at their expense. I can only imagine what a laugh Michael was. I wish I could have known him.
Sending love to his family, friends and everyone close to him and to all those that didn't know him personally his fans. X

They been playing your music on 1st wave sxm. The original sin song in my opinion is the best song of your collection. The lyrics ring true to today’s world. Your music will live forever.
I have Contributed to Michael's guestbook on many Occasions in the past.My Birthday shares the day we lost him.I have had the pleasure in Talking to Tina via social Media, and she personally signed her book, and sent it to me.I was hoping to Visit Australia this year with the Ashes tour coming up,but it's been an awful year or so with Covid. So my heart is fairly broken that I doubt I will be able to come to Sydney and pay my respects.I think I am the most fortunate man in the world to have seen Inxs before they hit mega big time in the UK.Seeing them in 1986 in Norwich,Wembley, and another concert in london.I will forever treasure those moments, and how Michael's voice just went from strength to strength.I still share my video's on social media of some of the footage, but Unfortunally UMC record company take down the content and I have given up trying to share his music.
But At least I have his memory and Voice to remind me just what we are missing.
For me he will always Live on,and God bless his family.
Much love from the UK.
