Happy 47th birthday!

Thanks for your words Zac. It's nice to see that Michael will live in the hearts of those who are yet to discover him. I never had the opportunity to see Michael play live or meet him and I am in the age group where I could have. I will always wish I had not put off till tomorrow what I could have achieved today.

I would also like to thank the wonderfully dedicated people that keep this site updated, giving us equally wonderfully dedicated people somewhere to go to reflect.

Anything is possible, you just have to believe in it!

Happy Birthday Michael!!

I am also part of the younger generation who have discovered Michael and his wonderful music and lyrics. I was only 6 when he passed away but in the past few years I have to come to realise what a wonderful man he was and I am really grateful to be able to listen to his music today.

I enjoyed reading the birthday greeting and especially the message from Zac, it has helped me to realise that I am not the only younger kid who has called themselves an adoring fan of Michael.

What can I say as I lift my glass in tribute and rememberance of such a great man? Thoughts of Michael speed through my head: Michael comforting a grief stricken child; Michael adorably nervous backstage, even after so many shows; Michael giving it his all during a performance, ever the professional, even after hearing heartbreaking news. Today I celebrate the man, not the celebrity, the sensitive, humble, sweet, caring man. Thank you for all you've given to me, Michael. The friendships, the music, and the insights into both myself and those around me. Happy Birthday, and may your soul find a small measure of peace knowing that you are always remembered in our hearts.

I discovered INXS a few weeks ago and now i'm very fond of it. I love the songs, I love Michael and the band. I'm very sad of what happened in 1997. i was too young to hear about it at that time but I'm very sad. and even if i don't know Michael personally I think about him very much and about his family and friends. Sometimes, i dream about him and he looks so kind and beautiful. Now that I know him i'll never forget him and he will always stay in my heart. He's my angel and i just wanted to thank him for that.
