Just want to wish every one associated with INXS peace today. Even though i am 54 i just recently became a fan and have spent many hours over the past year listening to your music and watching your video's. I am now a fan for life.
God has a way of giving us beautiful things, unimaginable feelings and emotions that for some reason reach us in different kind of ways and in different moments of our lives! One of these beautiful, magical gifts was Michael Hutchence! I thank God for sending him into my life and for giving me the chance to discover his music! I wish God would have been more patient and had let him longer with us!! But no matter what, i bear him in my heart with all my love...as long as i'll live!

Your voice and persona as beautiful as exqusite lace
Your inner beauty coupled with an incredible soul
No wonder your departure left such a huge hole
You had a stage presence no one could match
Like a beautiful butterfly you don't really want to catch
Just to be there to take in its beauty
Even though its time around is so fleeting
Of your little Tiger I'm sure you are so proud
The thunder we hear is just you singing her praises out loud

I must apologize for my simple English language but I believe you will forgive me...
I wanna share a story with you all. I'll try to make it as short as possible.
Year 1997 was a pretty sad year for me, actually many years before were just about the same. My teacher of English language used to like music a lot and he used to like INXS as well. He gave me a tape of INXS's songs and since I liked music a lot too I couldn't unlike them. They held me up when I felt the worst way. In sounds of that music I felt alive, in those words I found myself. And then Michael died...
I can't express how horrible it was for me. I know most of you understand me anyways. Those days I started to drink a lot. I wrote a lot of poems full of depression and desperation. What held me up suddenly brought me the lowest I've ever been...
One day I woke up in a middle of a night and I saw a shadow of a man. Just a dream I know. But next morning I knew I can go on. That dream gave me a new hope, new meaning of this all. We all have some angel watching our steps and helping us when we need it the most. That night I believed Michael is my angel and I never stopped believing in it. It's been 10 years and I'm crying here like a small kid, sitting in a dark side of a room with the light coming out of the candle I lighted up for Michael today.
Happy birthday Michael, thank you for being with all of us who need you and who will never stop believing in you. You're with us and we're with you. And that will never change...

It must be of some comfort to the bandmembers, family & friends that there are fans, such as myself , who never knew Michael until after his passing. I discovered INXS recently and watching the DVD s, it is hard to believe the group isn't complete as I see it. Thank you all for the great music. Andrew- it still makes you want to dance. I believe Michael is just as much of a legend as any other poet that was able to affect masses of people. Thank you also for going on with such spirit. As we get older, maybe it is more important to have that rocking beat. I can understand why you selected JD. He is fun to watch but I still watch Michael. Love your comments; Gerry, Jon, Tim . & Kirk's funny wit. Hope your lives are filled with good health, family and great memories of a time that you made a difference. And to those who made the wonderful videos; Richard & Chris- thank you. There are not videos that you can watch every day like yours, and not get bored.
