I was broked down as I heard the news of his dead for so many years ago and still tears are runnig over my face, when I think at Michael's music. He will never be forgotten I know. Michael, my heart aches with saddness that you are no longer with us on this earth, & i find it extraordinarily hard to even listen to your beautiful voice singing to me at times, it just hurts too much. It is with much love & gratitude though that i want to thank you whole heartedly for the joy that you have been bringing to my life since the age of 9, i am now 35. I grew up with the songs of INXS and the style and everything Michael meant. Loosing his was very sad news, all the way to a small place in Macedonia, where I live. But, he went in glory and died without having to see old age.
Micheal is still a presence around all of us.
He was the most coolest entertainer that I ever saw, so relaxed and confident.

“Better late than never”
I often think of Michael and the great times I was privileged to share with him. Special moments. Mostly hilarious and ridiculous. Michael was always kind to me and treated me as a mate, thinking back he was a brother. A smart big brother who always comforted me by his calm and uplifted me with his wit and inspired me with his wisdom.
I was away doing a gig with an old friend of ours when we received the news. I think we all just thought it was prank, or that's what we kept telling each other; until we arrived back in Sydney only to be hit by the reality.
Micheal-I'm sorry I didn't see you off. I think my excuse at the time was “I got a gig to do”, but in reality I was just mad and caught up in disbelief. That was my grief!
A lot has happened in the past 12 years some bad but thankfully mostly good. I have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls and they all love me dearly. A lovely wife who has stood by me through it all for 10 of them. My oldest boy is 25, the same age Michael was when we met. I was 22.
I am proud to have known Michael as a friend, a brother and know that I am special because of the time we shared.

This is for Michael...A few months ago I remembered the anniversary of his passing of the beautiful angel he was and is in our hearts and today, I was listening to INXS in my car and remembered this day of birth of a the same angel.
