I can't believe it has been 25 years already since your passing. The world is a much darker place without you, Michael. I grew up with your music and have always been a huge fan. I still listen to your songs and they are still as meaningful and special as the first time I heard them.

Happy new year! I’m not sure if anyone is still reading or monitoring this site but being a huge INXS fan in my late teens, I remember when it was first launched in his memory. I was moved to tears not as much by the stories and photos posted but more so by his father’s grief & devotion to his son. When a celebrity reaches larger than life status as Michael did, you don’t often think about their family history or remember that they had parents who raised & loved them in life & sadly, mourn them in death. I found the site to be beautiful & moving in that it was a heartbroken, honest tribute created by a grieving dad, who just missed his little boy. A dad who didn’t view him as a rock icon but just his beloved son. I am sad to learn of his subsequent passing, only 5 years afterward, but take solace knowing they are reunited in the afterlife. My kudos to Susie, his stepmom, for her love and loyalty to her husband for carrying on his legacy and maintaining the site all these years later. God bless the memories of both Michael & his dad and hope they are both embodied in the lives of his daughter and other family members. RIP

You know your song “ Never tear us Apart” is the theme song of the relationship with my only daughter. When I divorced her father, on the car ride home to my home as a single mother, your song came on the radio. I knew of the song when I was younger but at that moment in time it solidified this was our song. I promised her at that moment nothing will tear us apart. Even today when either of us hear your song, even if it’s on at the grocery store, or in an elevator, we stop to call or text each other to say your lyrics or we FaceTime or send video clips doing the air saxophone. Thank you for creating that song, it truly has a place in my heart and forever in my life. Thank you.

What amazed me was the film about you, actually your short biography. You were such a good and warm person. Curious like a little child and I'm sorry that you couldn't find the beauty in life yet to keep fighting and living life to the fullest, because even from some ugly experiences there is always something beautiful waiting for us. I spent the day crying on and off, thinking of you Michael. My heart is forever broken since your passing. Then comes the 27th...the day your family both smiled and cried, because it was the day of your funeral. Then your birthday. Basically November thru January is shit. So so many people miss you Michael. I wish more than anything that you would have had the ability to see what the future had for you. You were and continue to be so loved! You and Tiger should be making an album together. Im trying to spread the word, that Tiger and INXS should for sure, make an album together...or a song or two!
