Michael is missed every single day. It's always strange to think I've met all the other guys and not him. I wish I could have had the opportunity. He was one of the best performers of all time, and an incredible human being. I can only imagine that he'd still be making beautiful music if he were around today. Still cant believe that 14 years ago Michael passed away. He is so very missed by his many fans to this day. In Nov 2007 I was fortunate to organise a INXS.com fan trip to Sydney for Michaels 10th anniversary and also for INXS 30 year anniversary. A great bunch of people came along for what was the Strangest Party. We visited Michael memorial on the 24th a saturday, as the actual date of the 22nd ...fell during the week and we couldnt get to Sydney. On the 24th, the weather in sydney was overast and rainy, so we asked Michael to please bring out the sun for our visit to his memorial. By midday the sun appeared, and the sky was blue by the time we arrived at the Cemetary. I cannot express the total emotion that poured out of me when I saw Michaels memorial. Those that were there with me actually had to hold me up. I think that a year or organising this trip and then actually being there overwhelmed me. But I felt Michael's presence among us that afternoon. Nothing can describe it. We paid our respects to Michael, laid flowers amongst the Flags from all Nations. And then we came together to sing “shine like it does”. So moving so beautiful. Afterwards the memorial park staff bought out a cd player and michaels voice sang out and INXS played loud. We danced and sang around Michaels memorial. He would of loved that Im sure. It is a day I will never forget, a weekend that will always be treasured by those that were at the Memorial and then at the Party that evening, which Kirk Pengilly attended. I have been blessed by the people I have met and also have been honoured to have met such a wonderful band. A band I love. It is all because of Michael. I thankyou for that Hutch. Love and miss you, but you are and always will be in my heart. Aussie xx
Here we are again, another anniversary. I try to focus on all the good things Michael left us when he was here and not him dying. I also go on Sydney time when commemorating the two anniversaries (today and his birthday). Who knows what he would have given us if he were still with us?

I don't think a day goes by without me thinking of you. Can't think of a single time in my life when your music wasn't there to encourage or comfort me. It's still that way. I wonder if you think about us wherever you are. It gives me comfort to think that you and your dad are together. I'm grateful for things like YouTube. Sometimes it's like you're not really gone. Just dancing in the wind. I miss you all the time. I hope you're ok wherever you are. There are days I'd crawl out of my skin to undo what's been done. But, wouldn't we all? You were and always will be an extraordinary light that shone on us all. Love and Peace forever. xoxo

I left a message a little while ago and I had Wednesday on my mind, but I will be remembering you especially on Tuesday.
Michael may be gone,but not forgotten. I always have Michael on my mind as if I were related to him or as if I knew him. I miss him dearly. Michael is someone I wish I had known. I hear his voice and the way he sang his songs and can feel the way he put himself into his music. He was gone to soon. I want to say I am so sorry to his family and to his daughter. Thank you for having this site for fans to post what they feel about Michael. I can honestly say that I for one miss him and think of him very often. May he rest in peace. I love you Michael always.
