I was in a band in Perth,W.A. in the 70's.
One night my band was called in to do a 'fill-in' gig,at the Broadway Tavern(I think)to replace the Farris Bros.,due to one of the band being ill,I remember being told.......
The next day, saturday morning in the Hay St. Mall,I saw the Farris' singer........I'd seen the Farris' before, and I'd seen their singer...I tried EVERYTHING to get him to join my band........lol.....no way..........even way back then, you could see these guys were going to make it to the top,no matter what........We were never great mates,I think he didn't like me trying to “nick” him........lol......it was sooooooooooo good to see the boys go on to be the world's best........sorry I haven't left a message before,I never found the words....I always remember Hutch being loyal to his band, even when times were tough........a true pro........Peace.....D.
